So with Connecticut passing a law allowing Sunday retail alcohol sales, a lot of the news articles have been saying that there is only one state left with a Sunday ban. I could swear there have been others mentioned here on BA and was curious as to the veracity of the claim.

Are there any other states still with a ban on retail sale of alcohol on Sunday? What about restrictions or limitations?

(Technically, Indiana is just restricted since wineries and breweries can sell on-premise.)

I forgot to mention that Indiana is cited in these articles as being the straggler.

You are not allowed to complain about anything in Indiana with 3Floyds available to you.

In NC you can't purchase before 12, and the ABC stores are closed, so it's beer and wine only, retail wise. Restaurants can serve anything, after 12 that is.

There's nothing better than waking up "early" sunday morning, going grocery shopping and getting a look of disgust thrown at you by a teenage clerk as they inform you it's 11:45 and you won't be able to buy your devil brew for another 15 minutes.

It's county by county in Georgia. There are also restrictions on time of day, depending on the county (I can't buy a six pack at the grocery store if I decide to go shopping at 7am on any day of the week). Free market, right?

Come on down and try and find Three Floyd's on a regular basis. Go to Chicago and you will have much better luck.

In Texas, beer/liquor stores are closed on Sundays, but grocery stores, etc. can sell beer after 12:00.

In Georgia, my county(unincorporated Cobb) has voted it in, but we are having to vote again, so it is not allowed right now, plus where it is allowed, there are time restrictions.

I believe there's a county or two here in New Mexico that don't allow Sunday sales. though the majority of the state is 12-12 on Sundays.

Ohio has lots of weird Sunday rules/permits. To sell alcohol on Sunday, the bar/store has to place a ballot issue in local elections to seek aproval for it's expanded permit. As a result, some businesses can sell anything on Sundays, some can sell beer, some can't sell a drop. (sometimes two places across the road from each other are working on two sets of rules)

In my town, the Wal-mart can't sell beer and wine on Sunday. The gas station accross the road can.

I believe you can buy 3.2% beer on Sundays in MN. Could be wrong about that. I know you can only buy 3.2 beer in gas stations and grocery stores here other days.

    BUT!

The Sunday beer / liquor ban in MN does provide a good excuse to drive across the St. Croix and buy all sorts of beers you can't buy normally, not to mention growler fills.

If you're having to vote multiple times until you get it right then at least there's hope. (Assuming 'right' means Sunday sales.)

Sunday sales in Ontario, but the provincial liquor monopoly only opens limited number of locations and has shorter open hours.

Wow thank god california doesn't have such strange laws you can buy any alcohol pretty much all the time. there is a 60% abv (120 proof) limit on spirits, but finding 151 is easy. The only one you can't get or I haven't seen is 190 proof everclear. you can get the 151 proof version
