Is it me or did Negra Modelo disappear?

Interesting about the mention of kräusening.

Here's a German language back label which has the same information as the Swedish label (apart from the original gravity information). Mais and reis are both listed. Produced in Mexico.

Here's a French label which lists the ingredients as mais et/ou riz (corn and or rice) but with 4.6% abv, so perhaps an older label unless France gets a different recipe (the label above has a French ingredients list of course).

Modelo Negra is in town and the 6pack I bought is BB April 2021. It is hitting the spot...

 

Just had a few at the Mexican restaurant right up the street from me a couple days ago. Only Mexican beer that I enjoy.

 

I like many Mexican beers, I’ve never had a Pacifica though, and I rarely drink a Corona. But I like Carte Blanca the best of the bunch, Modelo is decent enough if it’s what they have I’ll take that, or Dos Equis. I just hate the lime in the beer thing, I think it’s ridiculous.
