    Hello,
At Yankee Spirits in South Attleboro, MA (on the border of Rhode Island near where I live), they are selling some Apline Brewing beers. I've really wanted to try Pure Hoppiness after the whole social media and YouTube craze surrounding it. Their website says they have it at $19.99 for a 6 pack. That's insane, right? Or is that an OK price? What are others paying for this beer and is there any other IPA's like Pure Hoppiness that people have had that are just as good or better for the price that most people can get?

$18.99 in California and it is Alpine's first 6-pk. Think of it this way, Hoppy Birthday, Duet, and Nelson was only offered in 22oz bomber for about $8 and those were single IPAs. 36 cents/oz for a bomber vs 26 cents/oz (me) and 28 cents/oz (you). Closes beer is probably Pliny the elder but even PTE is pricier.

$22 a 6er here, so I passed. I was able to track down singles for $3.50 each, so I got 2 of those.

$18.99 in Bay Area. Passed. Had a single, it was aiight. I'd take 3 Plinys at $6.99/ each over the Alpine sixer any day.

So it's even expensive in California. Sounds like I'm passing on this stuff. Can't be too sad. It's only beer after all.

$17.40 in Arkansas. I can almost get 2 sixers of Fresh Squeezed in near-by MO for that. I love that beer.

$17.99 in both CO and VA. Worth every penny to me, although I acknowledge that the price is very high. Still, I enjoy it more than a 6er of Scuplin, which is almost that price.

It's way too high. Im 17 min from the brewery in Alpine and its $19.99 there and I've seen it for $21.99 around San Diego. Duet and HB go for $9 a six pack. Way better deal.

too high...price matters...all of these brewers are going to learn that. NO reason for it to be this price with GF brewing it in volume now.

$16.99 / 6-pack in NJ. Was on the fence about buying due to price, but I feel a little bit better after seeing some of the other prices here. Ended up getting it just to try a couple of bottles since it's the first time it has been available in NJ and to give the other bottles to friends.

The price is too high in any area. They could've at least gone with 4 packs to soften the blow for people finding it at stores that don't do singles.

$17.99 here in Tucson. Wasn't really worth it in my opinion; I'll stick buying local, delicious IPAs for less dough (I'm looking at you, Dragoon IPA, Pueblo Vida, Tower Station)

Oh man, what I would give for some Carton or Kane right now. Would take over this Alpine any day

Filled my 64 oz growler with it for $16. Seemed like a deal compared to $26 for 64 oz fill of Duet.

Craft beer isn't the blue light reduced value close out cart at the end of aisle 30 in the farthest corner of your local discount mart. Your profile says your in Mass. Go enjoy some Trillium and Treehouse stop complaining. In the meantime I will dream about the one can of Julius I was lucky enough to devour. Happy Holidays!

$16+ here in Houston. Couldn't pull the trigger at that price. If I find it on tap and like it I will.

I just bought a six pack of this tonight and it was $20.99. I'm not sorry I bought it, but unless it completely blows my mind, I probably won't buy it again, at least not for a very long time.

Paid about $18 here in VA . Didn't have a problem with the price but it did not seem like the same beer that I had before . Had a couple of bottles from Alpine a few years back and loved it. Was really looking forward to seeing it here but was disappointed . Not a bad beer but it has a harshness that I didn't care for . Hopefully they will get it right next time .
