The Oskar Blues barrel-aged series. I think the current one is BA21 VOL. 7.

Miskatonic Brewing has a fabulous barrel aged toasted coconut Imperial Stout known as Mimic. It's to die for, but it's usually in 500 mL bottles. ABV is 11%

They also have this delicious gem:
    "Dungeon Master: Bone Hydra
    S’mores Imperial Stout ABV 11.5%
Dungeon Master imperial stout infused with real marshmallow, Ghanian and Filipino Cacao nibs, and graham, this monster of a stout smells and tastes like summertime s’mores." Cans up beautifully.

A non barrel aged stout box would be amazin, But most breweries make ass beer and hide behind barrel aging .
And most people prolly wouldn't want it cuz it isn't edgy to drink non ba stouts so it prolly wouldn't sell as many as a ba stout box.
I'm excited to see who ends up in the box and what is in the bottles.

I really had no idea they made this and now I have to have it. I have drank several 4 packs per year of Screamin’ Pumpkin Ale but never come across this. Cheers!

Anything from HOMES is top tier but I really don’t know if they have capacity to do this. Add that to the fact they only release a stout a few times a year and it’s in a big, waxed bottle. I’m not sure they’d fit here. Cheers.

Totally agree. Adroit Theory makes some great stouts and I have some aging in my cellar, but some of their heavily adjuncted ones are a little muddled. The OG Dia De Los Muertos is really quite lovely.

There are better beers for less money. I know a few God tier stouts I can get for less than $30 a bomber or 750. Not $60 for a 375.

I’ve honestly never had desire to even try Anchorage. The price they charge turns me off. It might be the best stout in the world, I still refuse to pay that price. They’re not the only brewery mentioned here I feel that way about. Cheers.

Any dialogue from the brewers about their beers in stout fest? Like the dialogue in the virtual beer fests? I enjoyed hearing from the brewers. What their thought process was in creating a particular beer. Box is only OK but virtual is AWESOME!!!!!!

I was just about to write a reply saying Hardywood. They do a lot of porters and stouts through the year. I always look forward to their Gingerbread Stout lineup.

Additionally, I really enjoyed the Imperial Stout that Great Notion did in the Extreme Beer Fest in Cyberspace. If they're not already on the list I think they would make a great addition.

Not their big ones. Fremont puts regular Dark Star in cans, I'm pretty sure I've seen other stouts in cans from them. Reuben's...I feel like I've seen a collaboration stout from them in cans or something.

But both have the capability, right?

I can't believe only one person has mentioned Firestone Walker . . . all of their stouts are in 12oz bottles, in a very easily shipped mini-box. All barrel-aged, true, but all outstanding. And they could certainly handle the volume.

@Rug I was thinking the same thing. I clicked on the link Todd provided and it looks like they say they deliver all over New England but it's not very clear. I'm going to be optimistic and say that we'll be able to receive a box in MA as we have for the last few cyber fests.

I got stouts aging from 20?? Prairie Artisan, Martin House, Goose Island, Lakewood, Mephistopheles, Tweak and Uncle Jacob's Stout.
Trying anything new is a plus for me. Have been blessed by BAer's who have shared some outstanding beers including stouts. Thanks to each and every one of you. Anxious to see your line up but one stout a day is all I can handle and then on to Lone Star or PBR when I can find 'em in longneck bottles. Which is usually. CHEERS!
