i have a feeling math won't be wagering a whole lot
If he does wager much he should change his user name...
The question will go up in a few min. You will be given plenty of time to answer (probably about a day) but if you'll have a problem giving an answer and a wager in that time period, just let me know why.
Thats plenty of time.....thanks, and looking forward to it!
The category is Before & After - The End of The World.
Please BM me your wager as soon as possible. Once I have that, I will respond to you with the "answer". You will have until tomorrow evening to give your "question" in reply. Fastest responses may be rewarded.
Am i able being negative
Yeah you can play double or nothing if you want.
Unsure about my answer format but j think it was a solid answer
Still waiting on 4 people who have bid but not answered. Only ThGr8BeerState has been missing in action for this entire round and will likely not enter a guess. Please get your answers in as soon as possible!
Ya come on you pawns!
Disqualify them especially Math.
haha, worst case they just lose their bid and Math still wins
Im out like a set of rims at a puff daddy concert.
I cant figure none of this jeopardy crap out makes me feel dumb. Has i try to figure out wtf a tacker is
Im on full lurk mode
Next round is coming shorty too...get your lurking pants on.
I.got my sweet warm.ass flannels on dont temp me to figure imageshack out
This guy is going to have company soon...
Answers are all in, I will post the answer and the final scores after dinner.
I am in no rush.....pretty sure I really blew that one!
Here we go...
Starting with the player in last place...
He tries to even out his score (double or nothing).
The Final Jeopardy answer reads: When the Mayans predicted the end of the world for this California brewery, with a beer that sure as "hell" fits the category.
And his response... Stone enjoy by 12-21-12
OH! I'm so sorry, that is incorrect.
Rempo, BigLobo, & TheGr8BeerState were MIA this round and thus their scores remain the same.
This next contestant couldn't come up with an answer. It cost him...
We will blame it on the blow to the head (and he has the staples to prove it). Poor guy. I hope you're feeling better for the next round.
The next bid...
Response: What is Enjoy By 12-21-12 Mayan Apocalypse Judgement Day?
I'm sorry, that is also incorrect.
The next contestant risked it all and had the same results...
What is December 21, 2012 Lost Abbey Mayan Apocalypse Judgment Day?
This next player had a solid run in the regular Jeopardy round but ran into some difficulties in Double Jeopardy. He decided to play it safe and only wager a portion of his earnings...
Another strong attempt...What is stone enjoy by La Fin Du Monde?
But ultimately futile (leaving him with 7pts)
This contestant joined in with the crowd of those who risked it all on...What is Stone Enjoy by 12/21/12 the end of the world?
Our leader played it safe with his irrational bid...
But right or wrong, he will still win this edition of Logical LIF Jeopardy...
His response: What is Aztec's Diablo?
This next contestant, struggled with attendance and ultimately only managed a few points, but he had the balls to risk them all...
His response: What is the end of the world December 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon?
That is correct! And he got it long before most of you even figured out your bids. Nicely played, Ben.
Our final contestant is in prime striking distance of 2nd place.
and he bids all of his points.
What is December 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon wheat beer?
He doubles up and jumps into second place! Well done!
For those that didn't understand the Final Jeopardy clue, let me break it down for you...
When the Mayans predicted the end of the world for this California brewery, with a beer that sure as "hell" fits the category.
The Mayans predicted the end of the world on December 21st (part 1)
"This CA brewery" (looking for the brewery name...must have December or 21st in it)...
The beer that sure as "hell" fits the category (before and after) = Hell or High Water + Watermelon = Hell of High Watermelon
This brewery is 21st Amendment (part 2)
Join part 1 and 2 = December 21st Amendment (correct answer)!
In this round there was a side game for a shot at becoming the next target. As you can see these two fought it out bravely and JaminJohnson edged out the new father, Sidebordz, by just a single point!
Congrats, Ben! I'll see if I can make the next round really confusing so that you can get some boxes sent your way
As for our winner, Mr. Math, we are going to play a little game of Let's Make a Deal...
Boo it is only logical to you enjoy by 12/21/12 was the only answer beer wise that made sense. Watermelon and beer don't even make sense. I am spiking all the Gueuze wit watermelon for this bs
I thought about enjoy by but didn't make a connection with the "hell" part and for some reason 21at amendment came to my head and saw they had a beer with the word hell in it
Hey man I am not looking for counter arguments but if watermelon beer is a winning answer I guess this is Armageddon. Not sure how hell wa actually better than the actual Mayan date but then again go is the most illogical logical mofo out there. He is still getting watermelon seeds in his box I am sending him.
As you can see...this is the correct answer and it has nothing to do with watermelon The beer was just the clue because it's name also happens to be a before and after. It was very meta. Anyway...spike away
