Just saw this on Winooski Beverage's homepage. Pretty sweet, as Jai Alai is great beer, and this is the first time I'm seeing it in Vermont!

We are releasing it at 5:30p on Friday, November 20th!

We’re spreading the Florida love around as much as possible by allowing one 4 pack per person of each type while they last!

Is Cigar City changing the packing for distribution up here, or are they making their own packs? Jai Alai is sold in six packs; never seen a four pack

grassroots is distributing CIgar city in vt. I think this is the second batch, previous one Was in the spring or early summer. All 6 packs but 3-4 weeks old both times. Jai Ali and infernofalls off fast IMO, great when fresh. I'm in Florida a couple of times a year and both are easy to find in grocherybstores and found super fresh with minimal effort.
I picked some up on Tuesday and saw it sitting on shelf the next Dayan pearl street. Just another reason I don't shop at the bevi, making special releases for (good) but high volume beers that are relatively easy to get. If a "special release" is needed it should be for the kiwi raising that just hit vermont

Did they really break them down into 4-packs?

Saw it on tap at pro pig today. i stuck w the local brews. HF citra and harlen and a pro pig Nelson. A Florida IPA is the last thing I'm looking for in the crucible of NE IPA country.

That's what im saying. Is a mediocre IPA, yet people would seek out a 6 pack.

While I wouldn't seek it out over many more locally brewed IPAs, you are in an extreme minority with that take. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/17981/46363/ To each their own though. I welcome highly regarded new beers to the area. I would love to see a lot of stuff go away instead of just piling more on top though.

They have alot of inconsistency with their batches. I had a batch that was pretty good. Other than that, my experiences hasn't been very good. Malt and vegetables is what I keep getting. Reviews here don't really mean much, but you're right, to each their own. I see this stuff collect dust in many FL stores. If you want a good IPA from FL, go to Cycle Brewing.
