Figured that is what it was, but OTOH we were told all the old forties are being replaced by eighties at the brewery in Kingston, and two add.'al eighty barrel ferms are going in the back by the grain pipe. So capacity will double or so right there, maybe plans are to do all things in Kingston again? That said, bottled Hurricane Kitty is as good as on tap right now.

They'd have to add that much more storage and a bottle line and such, too. Would make more sense to keep the deal going with Mendocino and expand their keg distro.

Cap Region folks, this is on tap for at Hoosick Street Beverage and the Ruck just tapped theirs today. Grabbed a growler at HSB last weekend. Delish as usual!

Exciting. I do love the Mother's Milk, and Hurricane Kitty on tap is always tasty. Look forward to having some bottles of this.

I had some Super Kitty at TAP NY this weekend. I was extremely impressed. The last time I had it was at on tap at Peekskill Brewery and it had an off flavor. Superb directly from Keegan's.

This year's Super Kitty has the most honey flavor of any year yet, and is super clean. I am guessing the problem at Peekskill ...well, was somewhere in between the keg and your glass, not in the keg. Every glass I have had of this batch has been stellar. Two 64 oz growlers are in cellar for future reference. And yeah, what a great surprise finding it on tap at TAP!

Is it worth buying in the waxed growler? I've seen it a few places but have been turned off by the price (30-35 bucks).

I have always gotten them, y'know gritted my teeth and plunked down the money, because I truly love that beer, and age is very kind to it. I get counter pressure filled growlers when I can find them, but up until this year kegs weren't distro too much, and the brewery doesn't do fills of SK, CP or otherwise. I haven't gotten my bottles yet, I'm hoping there still will be a few (and some money left in pocket) after I get my yearly supply of Parabola. Hope that helps.

Yeah I questioned the 6-pack price on their Facebook post, they didn't respond. Oliver's posted the $10.99 4 pack price, though.

Don't quote me on this but I don't see why not, it's being bottled by the same people as the others.

cool, hope so. capt lawrence 6'ers took a bit to show up on shelves out by me. i'm waiting on this one though! 10.99 a 4 pack is way more digestible than the ~$30 for the big bottle that used to be on shelves.
