I'll expound on the reason for posting anything...because this trip was a cluster of stupid proportions.
I was originally just going to do DFH at Rehoboth/dewey beach and chill for a couple of days. But we have a couple of friends moving in that area next month, and decided we would do that trip more than once anyways...sooooooo
Based on delivery schedules and timing constraints...just figured HT is all I would get. So I planned on drinking enough HT to get tired of it, and bringing back a case of HT and calling it a day. (and then just doing a personal can share as many here would chivalrously have done).

Work is in Philly...so we fly to Philly on Friday before lunch. Plan to go to NEBCO, OEC, Tree House, and then Armsby Abbey that night. Of course plane is delayed. Of course. By the time I land and get a rental car, it's like 3:00.
Skipped everything else and got in awesome NY traffic to get to Tree House @ 7:59 and they close at 8.
Got a growler of Julius and drank it otw to worcester and the next day. Blew my mind. Picked up Haze.
Saw a worker from TH @ Armsby and said that they prob wouldn't have let me in 5 mins later. (Thanks)

So Saturday...just planned on going to Three Penny in Montpelier and maybe HF if time allowed and then our spot we were staying in Waterbury.
It turns out that this entire area is dead for Mother's day weekend...don't forget that if you are ever planning to make this trip.
Hunger Mountain in Montpelier is loaded (1 4pk pp) with SOS...and about SOS. I got my first taste @ Worthy Burger, and it was the bottom of the keg bec it was dirty orange yeasty looking and the taste was not great. Had it a couple of times more at diff places and it was way clearer and way better. Way more crisp and some of the best i'd had.

Then to Three Penny...they still had KBS (and just kicked CBS a bit earlier) on from a tapping 2 days prior.
Then to HF where there was no wait. Well...there were about 2 peeps in front of us. Unreal and completely opposite from what I had read and what everyone personally told me up there.
And about HF...Edward is great. Outside of that, oddly, only Excursions 3 and Citra stood out for me And I had about 8 other offerings; many were just not that noticeably different in character and taste. All IPAs. IPAs for days.
    Loaded up there.

Ended up at Winooski bev a day later and loaded up on randoms. That place gets and has everything there is.

Long story short...on Monday, waited for 2 hrs bec the HT truck was broken...and that, coupled with a wreck that completely closed a major hwy for several hours, turned my planned 6+ hr trip into 8+. Traded an entire case of HT that I had no room or intention of buying for several awesome things.

As the beers began blowing up, and i made a few trades that didn't help...I ordered a couple of suitcases from amazon. Actually ordered 1 and then knew I needed another later on. And then had a couple of guys send me my own stuff as previously mentioned...i paid with HT, etc for the effort, so I lost some of my haul bec I was unwilling to pay an extra $100 overweight fee for a suitcase when I had 4 to work with and a huge hiking bp to carry on.

Lucky to have a wife allow this kinda of outlandish behavior. She's done trips like this with me in the past, but nothing close to the stress that this somehow became.
Honestly...IPA wise, she only likes Pliny...and barely, but the fact that she tried Julius and loved it, made most of the trip worth it to her.

You don't need to explain yourself.

All anyone does in here is disagree.

OP if you're ever in Houston let me know and we can share some beers. All the negative chatter and self righteous attitude on here is getting worse by the week.

I scanned the thread, and honestly, I found zero 'negative chatter'.. Opinions are allowed to be expressed, that's the point of a forum.
