Lady Luck getting released in bottles next week, in stores Monday or Tuesday.
that looks awesome. Do they distribute outside of Madison at all? I loved Fantasy Factory.
Their stuff has been around lake geneva most of the summer. FF hasn't been out in a store by me in a while.
Awesome. It would be even awesomer (?) if they bottled Silk Scorpion next.
I guess I need to plan a trip to the tap room!
Threat Level: Midnight is a S'mores Stout. This beer features roasted marshmallows, cocoa nibs, honey and molasses. The taproom release party will be December 18th.
Beer=guns? Anyone else confused by all the firearms in their artwork?
Nope. Me thinks you're reading too much into it.
It's not all original. http://sharpwriter.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24
Block Party and Idiot Farm don't focus on guns.
Are they releasing it in bottle? Or tap only. Seriously want a stack.
Guns are cool. And Americans love them....a lot.
Also, those are CHOCOLATE guns.
Pretty sure it is tap only, but you could get a growler or 12.
Plus Threat Level Midnight is Michael Scott's spy movie. Guns are a pretty big part of Bond, Bourne, Mission Impossible etc. I think it's more or less just a coincidence.
I'm kind of confused at where Karben4 is at with production right now. I figured idiot farm would hit again and it hasn't and nothing really special has been bottled since that I've heard so my interest has been waning.
I think Idiot Farm has only once a year. Scroll further up and you'll see they just started bottling Lady Luck. They've definitely ramped up production because Block Party And Fantasy Factory are now pretty available in Milwaukee. I'm sure a lot of their time is going towards keeping everyone supplied.
Idiot Farm is seasonal in the summer if they can buy the hops to make it. They are pretty much at capacity with FF demand along with Block Party and now Lady Luck. The amount of equipment they have purchased in the last 2 years is pretty incredible.
K4 is rolling out the releases.
Whoa. One 1/2 bbl. instawhale
Silk Scorpion black IPA will be back next week! Draft release is January 15th, 2015. 4-pack release date to follow!!
Happy days are here again!!!!
Yesss!!!!!!! Silk Scorpion will finally be bottled. It will be fun to compare it next to Lake Front My Turn Josh Black IPA.
Popeyes in lake geneva will be tapping a 1/4 barrel of threat level midnight during winter fest. First week in February. 4 packs of silk scorpion should be out in a couple weeks at the most.
Good thing I live near popeyes. I can try smores. Might even know a guy that can hook it up?
Silk Scorpion should be out on tap today. Anyone heard any additional details about the bottle release?
Karben4 Brewing replied to a bottling question on Facebook by saying that "4 packs will be hitting the shelves in the next few weeks," so, no....
It will be fun to drink SS next to My Turn Josh. They have a similar flavor profile aside from the ABV. Just need some fresh Tyranena Fatal Attraction to complete the trifecta.
Silk Scorpion 4-packs will be hitting shelves next week! These will be available in the Madison and Milwaukee areas.
Just finished my first bottle of SS (had it on tap a couple of years ago). Josh is good ... SS is fantastic!!
Looks like Dragon Flute is next up for bottles this spring. I have not tried this one. Anyone had it? Any comparisons?
A really nice APA will make it's return in epic fashion!
Any word on when the dragon flute bottles will be hitting the stores?
Mid to late April, per the Isthmus:
One note in the article: DF is expected to be around until mid-summer when Idiot Farm returns.
Thanks for the info
This is so great to have in bottles for the warm months.
It is now my go to APA and tops made in WI. Get some!
I am pretty excited for this one. Hopefully it hits Milwaukee tomorrow.
Finally got my hands on a bottle of Dragon Flute. Great tasting APA. Probably a touch above HHG as the best APA brewed in the state.
Having my first Dragon Flute - nice stuff. As for the best APA in WI ... would never turn down a Moon Man, HHG or Dragon Flute. All really good in their own unique way.
Agree 100%. Hard to say any of these three are hands down best APA in WI when they are all so unique and tasty. My goal is to have all three in the fridge at all times! Guessing this will turn into a year round beer from K4 pretty quick.
