So looks like we need to get a spreadsheet going and get that room reserved at that hotel unless someone else wanted to host this at their house! Can't wait for a Friday night bottle share and then KBS on tap the next morning! MMMMMM gonna be a tasty 2 days!

The courtyard Marriot is a nice place. They have an awesome happy hour that features some great Michigan beers. I think last time I was there they had Dragon's Milk pints for $2-2.50. Ill be doing Arcadia and Dark horse Friday, then Founders nice and early Saturday. Should be a good time

Me and about 4-6 other friends are heading up on Friday & staying overnight for the party on Sat. We're staying at the Beaumont Inn (2151 Holton Ct. Walker, MI). so about 10min from Founders.

anyone else interested in a bottle share at my hotel, another hotel, someone's house, a parking lot, etc...?

Mentioned before but I can probably host up to maybe 10-15 people. I have a patio in the back/grill/fire pit if the weather is nice or I could scrounge together enough room inside. Tons of room in the house just not sure if there is a room big enough for 15-some people around a single table. Could figure something out. If it's going to be like a 30 some person bottle share, it might not be the best locale. But then again, I don't really know where is.

My place is close to here for some perspective. 1.2 miles from Founders. 0.8 miles from Vivant. 1.2 miles from Hopcat. Not sure how close to the hotels mentioned. Very close to hospital (if necessary).

Would be willing to give someone/people a place to stay if they could hook me up with an extra ticket. I got shut out this year. :astonished:

There's tickets everywhere! Only $100 on eBay . Ill keep my eyes peeled for a fellow spartan.

And I'm still interested in a tasting somewhere. Pueblos house is close!

We're at the Ramada Grand Rapids. Apparently it has a "water park" in it. Not sure how close that is to any of the places offered up, but I suppose it can't be too far.

Maybe the best plan of attack from now on would be to make a spreadsheet for beers that are bringing brought, and see how many people sign up...If we go over 15, we could start looking for a little more room? Just a thought.
Here is a link to the bottle share spreadsheet:

I didn't add anything, I wanted to see what people were interested in tasting first.
Edit: Added a few things

Added mine. Hopefully I have no delays coming back the day before from FL. Perhaps I'll have some CCB goodies in my possession as well.

Forgive me for asking in here, Didn't wanna make a thread just for it - Figured a thread with Founder's Fans would be appropriate.

Does Curmudgeon age well?, I ask because I'm about to get some (fresh) and I didn't know if I could sit on some for trade bait here in Houston (and stash some for later) or do I need to drink it all ASAP lol

Also how hard is it to find KBS on shelves after it's released? - Does it require some hunting down?

Is there a mad dash for KBS and, it's gone in a day? Or, does it last for a couple weeks?

    Thanks folks!

The norm is KBS is usually gone in a day. Although I've found it in a few stores months after the release. Just depends on the traffic of the store.

I've only ever seen it for around $20 give or take a dollar. You will always have certain stores that jack up the price though.

In Chicago it was $24.99/4 if you could find it. I managed to find it a few months later for $47.99/4. Seeing as how I missed it at $25, I bit the bullet. I didn't want to support that, but I was desperate. Plus, beer karma got back to me. They mispriced a case of BCBS '12 for 17.99/4-pk. So, in the end, I won.

And personally, I don't think Curmudgeon ages too poorly. I've got some from last year that's till pretty tasty. I don't think I'm gonna give it another year (maybe a bottle or two, just to see), but it certainly can sit for 6 months or so. Again, just my tastes.

I'll have to call the stores in Cleveland (my hometown) to see who'll have it for what and then send my buddies in on April 1st.

Thanks again for all the input fellas - If there is anything in Texas you want, feel free to BM me.

Just me there. I'll be hitting a few breweries beforehand (Greenbush, New Holland, Odd Sides, Short's, Jolly Pumpkin Old Mission, Right Brain), so if anyone wants me to bring a growler of anything, let me know.
