KBS in Columbus

LOL @ Weiland's....they just hid a bottle of 2012 KBS in the cheese section...and another in the wine section...apparently up for grabs...and posted a pic on Twitter. NO PHONE CALLS. Looks like they are having some fun today.

 

So far, it's in the wine section, the coffee section, the salsa, and the pickles. But seriously, if you can get to Weiland's, it looks like right now is the time.

 

And the cat food.

 

I would like to drive over there tonight, but I have a feeling that there won't be any to have by the time I get there. Driving from Dublin. I'll just head over tomorrow and put my name it at Weilands and stop into Savor and Palmers.

 

Damn this beer is becoming more and more work every year. Think I might just sit this one out and avoid the stress required to acquire a single 12oz bottle...

 

The only reason I'm even going to try for this one is so I can split it with a buddy who recently got into craft beer and is obsessed with coffee stouts. He lives in a small town that doesn't stand a chance of getting KBS.

 

Is it just these three places that will get the beer this year?

We all know that KBS is a very, very tough beer to get your hands on. So this has been a request by all of our customers. From here on out, for any big releases limited beers we will have a raffle. It makes things easier and gives every customer the chance to get their hands on limited/tough beer. Plus, We don't have to feel guilty on the same people always here first and getting their hand it first. We have received a case (24bottles) of the March 2013 release of Founders Brewing Co.’s incredibly popular Kentucky Breakfast Stout, or KBS. that being said, let the KBS raffle began! I found a 2012 hiding in Weiland's about 2 hours ago. They told me I got the last one, but I don't know if they said that just so I wouldn't go looking for others (I wouldn't have, BTW). $7.99.
