KBS in Rochester/Syracuse

Oh yes. It will hit the stores in cuse, Utica, Rochester on 4/1 and therefore after.

I think you will see some folks sell 4packs and some sell as singles. As long as you know where to go on April 1st, you should be able to get it.

 

D+L will not be getting kbs. I spoke with the owner and founders isn't distributed to Cayuga county. I also spoke with someone at fingerlakes beverage center in Ithaca. He said he never gets KBS and is usually only distributed to the city.

 

I started asking around Rochester and no one gave me a definitive answer. If we do get some, good luck getting any. Unless you're part of the inner circle, you should probably plan on taking Monday off and fixating on social media so you maybe will know when KBS actually drops.

 

I've also heard rumors that production on Kbs was up this year and should be more available

 

I don't feel good about it being distributed on April fools......

 

maybe i should start being nice to people to make things easier on myself.

Syracuse has gotten quite a bit..and most of it's gone. Brilbecks and Galeville have already gone through their allotment, I am assume Stafford has (only had a case this morning) and I know Marcy's in Utica went through theirs yesterday morning. I'm not sure if any Wegman's got any. Rumor flying around was that BT was going to get it on draft, but now I've heard otherwise, and only two kegs were distributed, one to Itacha, the other I'm not sure (I find the BT not getting one extremely odd, however).

Party Source is being extremely shady (SURPRISE!), they won't tell you when or how much they're distributing. In fact, they act like they've never heard of it. But I'm 99 percent sure they will have it eventually out. I just don't know if they're worth calling and trying to get any info out of them.

 

Party Source had a list of 22 names yesterday and likely growing for the 3 cases they are getting in on Wednesday - 2 bottle limit. They were very nice to me and put me on the list. However, I later called them back because I was fortunate to find some here in Rochester and asked them to remove my name from the list so someone else could get a shot at KBS as well. Worth a call to see if they still have some slots available. Cheers!

 

I'm not sure where I am on the Party Source list, but I just called and Joe put me on the list (he's usually working the counter when I go in there during the week). I called the Stafford and they are out too. Vic said they were supposed to get 2 cases but only got 1, and it sold out in less than 30 mins this morning. Which is a bummer because I live about 1/2 a mile from the Stafford but I work near Cortland so my commute makes me leave before they open, haha.

 

If anyone gets shut out in Rochester and wants to do an IP trade for some KBS let me know. I went to the release so I have a few to trade. Also some '12 KBS.

 

I was lucky to get a four pack at galeville. They had a one pack limit. When I called they said it was being unloaded off the truck, so I took an early lunch to get there. But Wegmans Fairmount did not get any.
