A few months ago I saw a memo from AB/Goose Island stating that King Henry was going to be released sometime in November or early December. Anyone else hear about this?

I visited the barrel room at Goose Island a few weeks ago and saw an English Barleywine being aged in Heaven Hill barrels...a lot of Heaven Hill barrels. According to the brewmaster there, it won't be called King Henry because they didn't use Pappy barrels. However, he did say they tweeked the barleywine recipe, and it came out better than before.

It stated that Minx kegs were coming out in September which they did and that probably in November King Henry 1/6 kegs would be hitting distributors. These memo's usually are correct although it seems like early December may be a more likely release. In any event...they must exist.
