    Ha...we were there apparently the same time in Myanmar. I am guessing you failed at finding anything worth a damn? I ended up mainly with the Mandalay Beer (dark).

    You should probably meet up with Craig Kilborn. He has been on assignment there for years now. I'm sure he misses a bunch of stuff from the states.

    Are there other beers to be found in Myanmar ? Or in Laos ?
    I'm heading there next year , would be great to drink some intresting beers along the way

    There are multiple different brews. Each country will have at least one. Thailand has the biggest variety. Myanmar Beer, Beer Lao, Ankor (Cambodia). Thailand has Leo, Singha, Chang, and some other's I can't remember. All are very similar, watery versions of European Lager, which for the climate is pretty much what you want. Chang is the only one I outright avoid.
