I searched "lacing", all of the other post are 3+years-old and most of the pictures are gone.
Time for some new ones, I go 1st.

    I call this Polynesian Island of lace;

This lovely bit of lacing (as yet unnamed) is brought to you courtesy of Sam Adams Pumpkin Batch.

Frosted, semi-concentric rings of lace. Outstanding.

From the WAY back. As told by the picture quality. Still enjoy this beer when I can find it.

Pretty reminiscent of the armadillo on the bottle so...that’s the name?

Well formed and sticky concentric rings, that one was clearly loved. From now on S.C.R. (see above) will be know as an Armadillo.

Man didn't know this thread was here or I would have snapped a pic last nite. Had a stale IPA at a local bar, all malt and faded hops, but the lacing on that beer was epic. I could count the rings and tell you how many sips I had.

This thread has great potential. I just reviewed some of my beer pics and I guess I've been missing out on some of the better photogenic opportunities. I hope people keep this thread active. I would love to contribute in the future.

Sorry I don't recall what the beer was since this was a few years ago, but not BCBS in that glass!

Pretty ostentatious lacing for a half consumed Vanilla, Almond, Chai spice sour IPA, but what are you going to do?

Not sure which photo sharing site you use, but all the photo links in your posts are broken, in all 3 browsers I've tried on my desktop computer. The images show on my phone, but take a long time to load. No issues with anyone else's posts.

I have the save issue. It looks like the link goes to his Google drive, not a photo sharing site.

I use Google Drive and have been for a couple of years now.

I'm not sure what to tell you. The pix all show up on my Windows and Linux boxes plus my Android and wife's iPhone. I tested the links on Windows using Firefox, Chrome, IE, Tor, Brave, and Epic - all with no issues.

Usually if there is a problem, it's because I didn't toggle 'Link Sharing', but that isn't the case here.

Seems unlikely, but maybe a platform issue then (I'm on a Mac at work and an iPhone for mobile), or a corporate firewall issue (I'm at work). I tried on 3 browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome). I do need to update the OS on my phone, maybe that'll help there.

Somehow I don't think this is exactly what we're looking for here... Honest question: What does lacing tell us (if anything) about a beer?

Nothing special that I know of other than you can put a 'plus' on your beer drinking experience of that specific beer.

All contributions are welcomed and appreciated.

Lagers tend to have less lacing than Ales, probably because lagers are so well attenuated.

Temperature and humidity play a large roll in lace formation as well as how well the glass is cleaned.

You have a few spots there.
