I was at Cambridge Common here in Cambridge, MA last night and they were showing that this was on tap. I admit not having had Sumpin Wild since the first bottling, but this tasted nothing like I remembered it to be. Can anyone shed some light on this offering which was touted as A Little Sumpin Wild Gueuze?

Sumpin' Wild aged in wine barrels. No clue why they called it gueuze though.

I don't know about that beer, but if I recall, A Little Sumpin Wild was just the regular beer fermented with the Westmalle Belgian yeast strain. Aging it in wine barrels does not a gueuze make.

it's not a gueuze, but it's nice and funky. had it at ACBF, liked.

Classification aside, that beer is phenomenal.
