My shop in Venice has had 6pks & quart bottles over the last year. 32s currently in stock.

I remember this beer being sweet for an IPA, but my six pack was straight up sticky. Not sure I'll revisit this, although the six pack format is waaaaay better than the 32's.

Also, fresher bottles are better than less fresh bottles, no matter the size of the bottle. It is the SAME BEER, after all!

Yep, the 32's sat here and now that the Chicago location is pumping out beer I can find Lagunitas stuff a lot fresher.

Yeah, bought at Jubilation. Was excited to see it after passing on the really old 32s that continue to sit in the cooler there. I was going to write something about how the usually attentive guys there are doing a disservice by leaving the old 32s/even accepting the semi-old Feb. 17 six packs, but then was at the legendary Belmont Station in Portland last week and they had stacks and stacks of the February beers sitting around. So I have to remember it's a business, and they need to sell through their inventory, though I can choose not to buy those beers. I didn't hate the Sucks I bought, just wanted to love it the way I do when getting it really fresh.

I also have been waiting for the Sucks 12 ozers here in the greater Seattle area, and about a week ago, YES! here they are. I was so darn giddy, I drank one right there in the supermarket parking lot (just had ONE before heading on home!).
Anyhow, I was just a bit disappointed in the age of it, 048 (feb 17), the same date many have also reported all over the USA it seems like.
And then last night I cracked open a Lagunitas Night Time Black Ale, and it had the same date, 048. I had purchased these at least a month ago, maybe longer. Kinda interesting. How much can they brew on any given day I wonder?
Anyhow, I am now anticipating some "newer" Sucks!

Bottle purchased in MI says 092 5 2. About 1 month old.

Metro Detroit. Pretty easy to find around here.

Just picked one up in the Boston area for $11, bottled on March 13. Pretty excited, means I don't have to drink a whole big bottle in one sitting (says the 110lb girl) :stuck_out_tongue:

Finally hit CT. Been waiting for a while and was glad to see that they're not sending old stuff given that the packs at my liquor store were all of ten days old. $10.99 for a DIPA that fresh is pretty hard to beat.

The six-pack I picked up last week was bottled May 6th. As good as I remember.

I wouldn't mind if Lagunitas made this a seasonal/special release. It would be something to really look forward to.

Hit my shop in NJ, my life's been changed. I actually hope they control the flow of product better than with the 32's. I'd be more happy with a fresh 6er every few months than with access to it anytime but months old.

6 packs and draft at the local bottle shop. Haven't seen the big beers available yet but plenty happy with what we've got. Bottles say 112 5 2 so around a month old but no complaints.

There has been lots of folks posting about purchasing Sucks in 6-packs with the aspects of:
    • The beers are fresh!
    • A reasonable price (per ounce) compared to the 32 ounce bottles
Kudos to Lagunitas in providing this beer in a format that customers want!!

    Cheers!
