They don't have the bottling line for it yet, so for now it's in 12ozers. When the new bottling line is complete, we shall see a different format.

Troegs doesn't brew a good beer past Flying Mouflan.

I want it available in six-packs year-round regardless. Easily my favorite of their brews...

They have it in the fermenters but no bottles for it...

    And there was much rejoicing.

Lagunitas just doesn't make bad beer. They make exceptional beer at very fair prices.

Seconded. The only available one is the Bear Republic Red Rocket (it isn't *that* hoppy though). http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/610/1655

Hello. Looks like the Chicago area got its load in today. Picked up a case; left a boatload. It's 7 days old! Yipee! Thanks.

Asked in Lansing today, DJ at Goodrich hadn't heard it was coming soon (actually hadn't heard that it was being released again at all). Heartened to hear that it's in Chicago!

Tastes great. I only picked up a sixer but will be going back for more deliciousness. I do believe it tastes an awful lot like the Waldo's ale from 4/20.

They need to phase out their standard IPA and this their norm.

I think that would make a lot of sense. I don't know if they'd be able to pull it off though - I think I remember Tony Magee saying that they had bought out the workd supply of one of the Sucks/Leftovers hops with last years' batch (which was fairly small compared to how much of their IPA they make.)

My wild ass guess is that there are some NZ hops (Motueka?) in there.

We buy more sucks then IPA here on BA, but for the general public who enjoys craft beer but is not obsessed it is in no way the same. Beers like IPA are where all the breweries profit come from. Maximus would be a more logical choice as they are both DIPA's and a easier switch. But I like Maximus slightly more... Same amount of hops (when Fresh) but a much bigger malt backbone which I enjoy.
