Lansdale Beer Fest

    This was a great fest! The VIP session alone was one of (if not THE) best beer fests I've ever attended around Philly. The big bottle selection was astounding. Of course, once the fest opened to general admission ticket holders, the place became a madhouse. It looked like well over 1,000 people. Still, the first hour-and-a-half of the VIP session made up for any long lines and quickly kicking kegs over the next three hours. I'm already looking forward to next year!

    VIP may have been great, but I was less than impressed with the regular session. I will not be attending again. Tents were insanely crowded, beers kicked too early (45 mins in).

    I'll start looking forward to next year tomorrow---still recovering today. Big bottles were crazy, I think Port Older Viscosity did me in--food was great, too. VIP is the way to go!

    I only attended the regular portion and I was impressed. Never had more than three people in front of me in the lines, and more beers/ breweries that I hadn't tried than I could finish in the three hours.
