CCB Hornswogled on Nitro
Four way tie: M/Brabantiae/Blauw/Millenium Geuze.
Mother of All Storms was really solid. Thanks Jeff
Forest & Main Marius Sour. So excellent.
It's supposed to, look at the can
Temptation. Never gave it a fair shot with Consecration & Supplication always overshadowing it...glad I finally did.
Bruery Smoking Wood on Rye Whiskey Barrels and the Reueze were incredible! Also, Enigma is ridiculous too
Ballast Point Sculpin
Tricerahops DIPA, Ninkasi Brewing Company. Seemed the balance of everything was perfect.
HF Juicy. Got one in a trade, drank it weeks ago and I'm still hung up on that beer.nothing has tasted quite as good, nothing looks as nice, never knew I could have a beer crush, but here it is.
Hoptimum. A huge hop bomb but some really amazing flavors I did not expect.
Ten Fidy on tap. Amazing.
Not a rare beer or anything but I was blown away by Bell's Java stout. I thought it was the best coffee stout I have ever had outside of Bourbon County, and I wasn't really expecting that considering the reviews on here have been positive but not overwhelming.
I f'n love the resinous character in Hoptimum. That is my go to DIPA during the summer months.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate
Tired Hands Good Good Things.
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA = Mind-blown..
Santa will be granting you your wish in January.
2010 Abyss from my cellar just recently
Hey new to the beeradvocate world, its about time I created a account, and figured this is a great place to start.
Its a hard choice for me here. As I work at a place that consistently has new drafts that simply blow my mind. (not trying to brag or show off at all) As of about 5 days ago it was Surly Darkness but that very well might change in a few weeks as for Xmas im cracking open either my 2011 or 2010 FFF Dark Lord. Gonna drink one as a xmas gift to my self and try as hard as I can to keep the other one as long as possible.
He'Brew Jewbelation Sweet 16 Anniversary Ale...holy agnostic shit.
Mind = blown at how good this is drinking this fresh.
Have 2 bottles, going back for more.
Can only evolve into a more seductive beast of a brew in the years to come.
I've had many very good beers since that I've really enjoyed, but something about BBQ just clicks with me.
Crooked Stave Sentience. Bourbon barrel aged sour quad.
One of the best things I have ever put in my mouth.
And that was after trying this...
where did you get heady topper?!
Stone 10th Anniversary Ruination.
Agreed, though Highland Thunderstruck Coffee Porter is still my undisputed favorite for coffee beers. Close you eyes and drink it, you'll swear you're sipping on cold black coffee.
From a fine upstanding citizen of Vermont. Sadly I will have to wait until winter is over to get more. Been fiendin' for a can lately.
I'm actually thankful for winter ceasing my trading activity if it weren't for that I'd be broke.
Dissident... Soon 2012 Abyss...
Founders Backwoods Bastard. I'm a bit of a malt-head, especially when the temperature starts to drop and this sweet, malty, boozy goodness was like heaven in a snifter.
I saw this a while back and went "hey stone changed the ruination bottle for the 10th Anni." Then proceeded to place it back on the shelf.
I will never forgive myself for this epic fail...
Utterly floored? About a year ago now, Goose Island's King Henry.
More recently, last night we had St. Bernardus Christmas (2010 vintage)...feckin' hell that was good beer
Nice user name.
Just tried Thirsty Dog Brewing's 12 Dogs Of Christmas. I've had beers with some oddball flavor blends, but this one is so off the wall it demands a second bottle to follow the first.
Well, I'm drinking my first Siberian Night and it's rocking me pretty hard. This might be up there with my favorite RIS's. Everything I want the style to be.
I can send you that and heavier handed for whatever is cool from where you're from.
Haha both of these. For not super heavy touts, they pack a ton of flavor...
