Also, breakfast weasel cognac, and red&white... first bottle, second on tap. Really made me think. This year's BCBS Coffee was INSANE, as well. Really crazy, smelled like the best coffee shop you'll ever be in.

bourbon vanilla dark lord. i have a bottle that i had never found the right time to open. in part, i was scared of it being incredibly overhyped or tasting like its foul soy sauce-y base beer. it tasted like pure heaven.

Had Cigar City Moat Water yesterday and it was fantastic. Now I'm sad I only had the one bottle.

I would have to say Lightning Sauerstruck Berliner Weiss. Good examples of that style is hard to find where I'm at and this one was realy good.

Strong choice. I'm thinking FW 16th Anniversary. Both should taste fine with a Bruin victory.

I know there's a lot of hype out there for Narwhal right now, but that one did it for me. Drank my last of the one four pack I could find last night.... Hope that's not the last time I'll get to try it. I also had Prost's (In Denver) Octoberfest recently.. I could drink that for days and days.

A few recent ones have been great:
    Firestone Walker Double Jack
Everything from Sam Adams Oak Barrel series -- moreso because I wasn't expecting stuff like this from Sam Adams. Add to that a tasting of Utopias just a few months ago. Good stuff.

I know I am late to the club, and of course its been said time and time again, but BCBS really left me saying "wow". Seriously, that beer is amazing...the richness and complexity surpasses any stout I have ever had before. Bravo

The last beer that I had that i immediately went in search of was Samichlaus. Had it on tap and it was just so different from anything else, while being enjoyable as well, I immediately went in search of some. Looking forward to the next release as it is only brewed one day a year 12-6-xx then aged for 10 months before being released. It's not your typical, especially at 15% abv.

Yes! I think the SA barrell aged stuff is great too. Not nearly enough love for them. I went to their booth many times at the GABF a couple years ago trying to get Utopias (like everyone else) and got to try those beers. they're all awesome!

Not a particularly sought after beer, but I recently tried DFH Indian Brown for the first time and I was pretty blown away. I've never been a big fan of browns, but that one hit the spot! Now I'm just upset it took me so long to get around to trying it.

Funny... for me it's Zombie Dust which I had for the first time about a week ago. I have a bomber of Alpha Klaus in the fridge right now. Hopefully that will blow me away as well.

Taras Boulba from Brasserie de la Senne. Unreal how much flavor and complexity they're able to pack into a 4.50% ABV pale ale. HIGHLY recommended.

Odell Mountain Standard. Might be better than Sublimely in the black IPA category.
