Splittin this treat from 4balance with my older brother. What a unique beer!

 

Shared a Trader Joe's 2011 Vintage with some buddies earlier. Now drinking some extras ThirstyHerf sent me. Now:

I'm drinking a can of Wyoming Pale Ale, maybe I'll open something from my cellar afterwards.

 

I'm sipping on the newest batch of HF Arthur (light blue label). I definitely think this one is tarter and has a better funk character than past batches. It's drinking awesome right now. Wish i had a couple more.

 

had a Monarch White earlier opened a petrus aged pale next and enjoying that as it warms

 

began with a bottle of saranac rye IPA and now ive moved onto a growler that my sisters boyfriend gave me of Magic hat Artifactory series: Honey Wheat IPA which is quite nice (Thanks Greg!)

 

I started off with a SN Torpedo, now having a DFH World Wide Stout for the first time. After hearing so much hype about different IPA's sometimes I forget just how good of a beer a Torpedo really is......

 

Starting Friday night off with a WIdmer Bros. Raspberry RIS......not bad at all.

Just finished NB's Fresh Hop IPA and it was pretty good.

Seriously, there's something about RISes that makes them pair up perfectly with black metal (even if Akercocke isn't completely black metal...)

 

This wasn't suppose to be available yet but someone effed up and put them in the cooler at the tasting room when I stopped by for a growler fill. Oh well, lucky me. Very good IPA, bottled 5/17.

 

Mamma's Little Yella' Pils while I assembly the new lawnmower I bought. Homebrew with the occasional shot of homemade ginger liqueur after that.

Think I'm going to do a side by side of La Fin Du Monde and Velvet Rooster. I have a feeling who's coming out on top, but they are both enjoyable tripels. Should be fun.

Listening to:

 

On a whim I mixed a bottle of Hoptimum and a bottle of Deschutes Obsidian, to create something like Odells Mountain Standard black IPA. It tastes awesome. I need to be careful or I could slam this whole thing in about 5 gulps.

WAY upped the ante on their IPA by adding Chinook. 2x
also a Cheery Hefeweizen which was really neat.

Now hit the grill and some Pale 31!

EDIT: The beer was CHERRY not CHEERY! although it was probably both.

 

I moved on to a bottle of Mirror Mirror. Simply superb!!
