Consumer Beverage in Hales corners, they got 8 cases, 1 4pk per. I paid $20.
Passed my class B CDL test today so im celebrating with a Rochefort 10 and possibly something else!
Waiting for the new episode of south park and drinking a Ska Brewing Modus Hoperandi.
I'm just messing with you..... we can all do Sex-dolls.
Excellent, thanks! I know where I'm going tomorrow afternoon..
Actually, I missed the Hales Corners bit and mixed it up with a different store downtown. I know where I'm NOT going tomorrow afternoon (not having a car stinks in this town)..
you forgot the picture -
This statement combined with your avatar will have my skin crawling for at least two days. Congrats, that is quite a feat

Drinking one of these right now. Does CCB bottle date these anymore...cannot seem to find it anywhere?
magic hat #9
I don't like this..
Next up in sour night:
Still kinda kicking myself for not going to the Bon Iver show at Brewery Ommegang last Monday.
Beer looks great! Can't wait to get my hands on some 3F, looking forward even more to getting back to Hill Farmstead (hopefully in a week and a half or so).
glass is excellent. thick, well made tulip top. smaller than the other sixpoint glass, but far from a mini snifter. similar to the hoppin frog glass. happy to have it!

Yeah they do. It's printed on the left side of the label in the tan strip. They seem to smudge really easily and I end up having to check the whole 6 pack until I find a legible one. Here is a pic showing where it's supposed to be, right above the cigar. As you can see it is completely illegible (if this bottle matches the other in the pack that says 11 SEP 12 )

Woah, Bon Iver at Ommegang?!? That's unreal!
Enjoy, HF my friend, I can't wait to go there myself. Seriously, get S&S5. It blew me away. Grab some Vera Mae to go as well, I would argue its the best saison I've had. Cheers bud!
neither. although i probably would not have nabbed a 4 pack of Resin today if the glass didn't just arrive in the mail (the brownstone i got for the other glass, i was looking to get anyway since i haven't tried it yet from the can). getting a glass that is beer or brewery related could definitely motivate me (and has many times in the past) to get the beer, but i won't hold onto a beer waiting for a glass unless the glass is on the way. i definitely prefer to break in a new glass with the right beer, but it doesn't always go down that way, but have plenty of glass favorites to use if i want to hold a new glass for a proper christening.
now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
Call around, talk to the "beer guy."Milwaukee got allot more than most think....Sendicks, Whole foods... good luck
Tyranena Dirty Old Man now. Incredible body, so freakin' thick!
I had a Coast Carnie Fire earlier and a Zombie Dust. Lotsa beer for me tonight!
just cracked a 3 year old orval for the start of south park.
Send me your address....
First Pumpkin ale of the season(after already having like 5 O-fests lol). Not bad at all, really solid. They went light on the spices so as a result this is really drinkable and not offensive.
Damn good Schwarz, a very robust 4% beer for sure.
Starting on this. DAMN GOOD. Val Dieu's Tripel is fantastic, and I am having good impressions from this. I have their blonde in the closet too, so I will complete the trifecta soon. Then I just need the Grand Cru
What's up BA?
Trying this one out tonight:
Sweet swaddled baby jesus this is good. Wow.

Thanks! I checked all 5 remaining and cannot make out a single one. Oh well, no biggie, tastes fresh
Yeah, thinking of making the rounds of Sendiks, Whole Foods, and anywhere else on the East Side tomorrow anyway, have a free day to myself. I know Otto's is selling it on Saturday, hopefully others have it earlier.
Comparing Central Waters and Ayinger Octoberfests - classic versus American micro upstart. Both are great - the Ayinger is lighter in color and body, but delivers a full malt flavor. I love the carmel flavor of the Central Waters. They need to enter this in the United States Beer Tasting Championship - would like to see how does versus other midwest O'Fests - Capital, Lakefront, Great Lakes, etc.
First up this evening, thanks to a very very nice forum member:
Celebrating the company of a best buddy from back home:
Nice! I'm hoping to go, but not sure if it'll work out yet. If all goes to plan, Capt. Lawrence & Peekskill this weekend, Alchemist / Lawson's / HF next.
and onto part of an insane box courtesy of Yamar68
3 weeks since can date - freshness!!!
I honestly cannot wait for their Tripel now, after that performance last week. Fricking delicious and very complex. I want to see what my favorite style yields in their bottles with bugs in it. Cheers!
Little Lady had a hell of a day at work, so when she got home we each had one of these:
This bottle had it printed in white on the front... The white oak I had had the same white printing, but it was on the back of the label.
For tonight. Not bad...but not worth the $10 price of admission. It will suffice in quenching my craving for some puckering.
Buddy of mine uploaded this from the show:
This is A LOT better than expected it to be
I would drink an entire six pack before I had to choke down a Pumpkinhead. God pumpkinhead if people keep buying it then they are just going to keep making it...
I've seen them like that as well. All the bottles at my total wine had the black printing the last time I was there, and they go through a lot of jai alai. They must have changed their dating procedure for the most recent batch.
Had a couple Little Sumpin Spupmin with some friends now feeling it and heading to bed.
ISO: time travel to go to that show.
I passed up a chance to see him in Chicago last December . I definitely will not make that mistake next time.
Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast this evening!
Always goes down smoooooothh......
