I fell in love with his work in music college and became obsessed with his story. Easily one of the most captivating and brilliant composers of all time.

The HF glass is a fine piece of Gl"Ass"ware. It makes me jealous that I don't have it.

You're probably right on that; I know he was Hungarian by birth and spent a shitload of time in Austria (like most big musicians back then), and I'm sure he drank beer while there. Berliner weisses, perhaps? Though I suspect there was a lot of brandy involved, too.

Truthball. So, he'd be a pretty gnarly drinking buddy, right?

From what I remember from my studies, there was some Absinthe involved for a while.

It'd be fun for a while but I have a feeling that I'd have a hard time keeping up after a few months.

That, and I get the impression that he was one of those guys, every time you're out or at a bar, every woman's looking at him so you'd never get much of a chance due to proximity.

No, he literally had Lager running through his veins. His mother's name was Lager.

Moved on from the Heady Topper to my first Palo Santo Marron - wow! Such a complex, intriguing beer. Maybe a Zoe to end the night..

Nothing special, and I'm a bit disappointed. I've loved all the other beers I've been fortunate enough to try from Maine Beer Company.

Just finished a long shift serving Mexican food. Starting with a Hop Karma Brown. I really like these mixed IPA's. I wish i could get more black and brown IPA's here.
