Drain poured this recently -- a truly nasty beer.

The last beer I drain poured was Take the Black Stout. Drank half the bottle; plugged it; drain poured it a few days later.

Paradox from Co. Just can't put beer in wood and a fancy bottle and call it good.

Alaskan Brewing Pumpkin Porter. Poured out a 22oz bomber last night after three or four sips. Just freaking awful. I suspect the bottle was infected, but I don't care. I won't buy it again, anyway. It was an experiment to see if I could find a pumpkin beer I liked.

On that note, if anybody can point me at a bottle of Avery Rumpkin in the Los Angeles area...

Same. I think I've poured out a few Clown Shoes in the past. Clementine is one I can think of -- it was overcarbonated, Perrier-like, and just generally blech.

    I should've known.

I don't typically drain pour. Maybe if the beer sits out overnight because I fell asleep. Maybe.

I love that beer. It's fun to pair food with. That said, I totally get why some some hate it. It's a very different beer.

It certainly is, haha. It was kind of a bummer cause I had been looking forward to trying it, but I just thought it tasted like sun tan lotion. Not that I know what sun tan lotion tastes like........ Whatever, hahaha.

So your one of those that has to be all politically correct. Your ruining free speech, which is gay. Just because someone finds something I or anyone else says offensive that doesn't make anyone a bigot, otherwise you would be one, because I find talking about being politically correct way more offensive than anything else you could ever say.
You seem like someone who would be offended by Oompalumpa beer.

That's crazy talk! Did you try it with a mouthful of Jalapeno poppers or something? I thought this beer was great. Definitely a long way from a drain pour.

    Roscoes Hop House Pale Ale.

I don't know if this had sat on the shelf for a few months at the beer store. I couldn't get any hop flavor out of it. It had a very flat, malty flavor.

I sipped it for a little while, trying to find a redeeming quality. I didn't have any luck. It went down the drain.

I love that fact that craft breweries explore just about everything but Pumpkin beers, for the most part, seem to be an example of when flavors do not work out. I have yet to be overwhelmed with a Pumpkin Ale. I had three this season... two went down the drain.

CACAONUT , couldn't help but taste this sour bitter end, I dunno if my tongue is just playing tricks on me due to all this infection talk at the Bruery but didn't seem right to me ....

Pumpkin beers seem to me to work better when they are dark and strong, like I imagine Avery Rumpkin or Uinta Oaked Jack to taste. Haven't actually had one of those, though. Would like to try for the sake of saying I did, though.

First of all, that's not what I said, and second, the word you're looking for is "irk."
The beer could have been alright if I had let it sit for a year or two but it was a sticky, boozy, mess.

Had my 1st drain pour EVER last night. Had a Rogue Voodoo Donut Bacon Maple Ale, I don't know what it was, but I took a few sips and just couldn't stomach it. Gave my wife a sip and she didn't like it, so I had to drain pour it.

I mistakenly purchased a bottle of this thinking it was the regular RIS. As I loath and detest the taste of anise, I let it sit in my fridge since its release. A couple of weeks ago, out of desperation, I cracked it open. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting, as the taste of anus had lessened over time.
