I don't understand how many people take pride in the drain pour. that said I've had alot of beers and there was only 1 couldn't drink. Elevator Brewing scorpion. it's a ghost pepper beer. I couldn't will myself to finish it.

Props to anyone that can choke down more than a sip of a Shipyard Monkey Fist IPA.... absolutely vile. Was given one by a coworker, and drain-poured shortly after.

Have a set of 2010-11 Brooklyn Black Chocolates that I've been cellaring for a while. Very good when fresh and supposedly a great cellar beer.

    Tried one.

Port Brewing Older Viscosity...and the one before that was old viscosity. I love Barrel Aged stouts, but they were both horrible.

Whenever I get any Port Brewing beers up here in Chico, they are always super yeasty. I have to pour them gently, quickly and leave the last 2oz in the bomber or else it's sediment/yeast chunks ahoy! Never had any yeast/sediment problems with their beers on tap though.

Weird I loved Suede it was one of the smoothest porters I have had in a while. Different strokes I guess.

I bought a Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout... Most disgusting stout/alcoholic beverage I have ever even tasted. I had to of gotten a bad bottle, I have recently gotten into so many stouts and after 3 drinks of that... it just wasnt happening what so ever. It was poured out completely. Ill try it again, hopefully it was just a bad bottle.

I was enjoying this thread. I wanted to know what beers to stay away from and some that have been mentioned here are beers that I maybe thought of trying. Chasin' Freshies IPA I thought was a very good beer. Someone dumped Arrogant Bastard, too. I don't get that at all, either.

It was either Sam Adams Porch Rocker (which was just plain bad) or a skunky bottle of Arcadia Sky High Rye. Thankfully, the Sky High Rye was just a bad bottle, as the next one was delicious.

I know this is going to offend a lot of people but I just drain poured a Double Bastard. I drank 1/4 the bottle but it was just too much for me. I am truly not worthy. :slight_frown:

I recently poured left hands milk stout nitro. I just did not like it. I want to try a different milk stout that isn't nitro and see if maybe that was part of the reason.

First and only drain pour. Warlock - tasted like pumpkins ground into dirt. Hated it - tried, couldnt do it. Guess I could have used it in a pie or something.
