I poured out my first Boston Lager. I actually like that beer now.

I gave my first Guinness back to the bartender. I like it now.

Both of those were before I got into craft beer.

My only craft beer drain poor was Westbrook's Lichtenhainer. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/24134/66279

I love Westbrook's stuff, but I couldn't get through this one. I tried my best. It taste just as described, but I couldn't get the idea of spoiled ham out of my mind, and that's what ruined the beer for me.

I knew this has been said but voodoo maple bacon doughnut. Had it this weekend after 6 or so and it was literally the worst beer I have ever had. Almost made me throw up! Two sips and a drain poor. The story was the same for the other 4 people that tried it.

Flat 12 Walkabout Pale Ale. It had too much carbonation. I bought a 6 pack and drank the first 3.5 bottles (not in one night) and poured out the rest. The first two bottles I poured in a glass and it was nothing but foam. I tried to drink the third one right out of the bottle and almost choked from all the carbonation. When I poured them down the drain, the sink was full of foam and it took me forever to rinse the sink out. However, one bottle did not foam when I poured it down the drain. I didn't care by that point.

My neighbor bought the Magic Hat Summer Pack?? with the HiCu in it..I was not home at the time he drank one but as soon as I got home he came out and told me about this beer and gave me one..I was thinking how bad can it be???

Well low and behold, this beer smells like you are drinking a Glade air freshener.. The taste in my opinion is repulsive and I could not get down more than two sips...Had my wife try it, she did not like it either. Poured it out.

The following week my buddy came over with the same mixed 12 pack..His wife actually liked the HiCu and drank all three..Go figure...

Nope, that's what it tasted like. Total shit. I'm more surprised that so many people claimed to enjoy it over the fact that it was discontinued.

I drain pour stuff all the time. I have a tendency to open that last beer I didn't really want and it just ends up sitting there until morning, then I pour it out. Usually feels bad man.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who had to expierence this beer. It tasted like regurgitated Cucumbers fresh out of the dirt to me lol. Probably the worst beer I've ever had.

I usually keep 2 beers in the fridge (from my cellar) if there is one that I think I won't like. I don't like ending the night on a drain pour.

A couple weeks ago I poured out an entire bottle of La Fin Du Monde. I've had it before, and enjoyed it a bit. But something was wrong with this bottle. As soon as I opened it I could tell. It smelled like rotten mangoes and feet. Gave it a few sips, nearly threw up. Tried to pass it off to someone else first.

My only three drain pours that come to mind are:
Sam Adams Triple Bock - Tasted like soy sauce with an aroma of vinegar, and the crusty sediment in the glass didn't do anything to help my own perception.
Harpoon Grateful Harvest - Tasted like cough syrup. Bummer, because I typically enjoy Harpoon and cranberries.
Monk's Cafe Flanders Red - Perhaps I just don't like Flanders ales? Had some others at fests and they just didn't work for my palate. It wasn't at all sour or tart to me, just oddly funky, and not necessarily in a good way.
