Do these usually make it to distro for non-FwB's? I thought they did, with really limited availability, but I'm not sure.

I, too, would like this question answered. Also, is there any way to become a FwB now?

Nothing wakes a thread up like a barrel-aged release

Very limited amounts usually hit a limited distro footprint. Do not know definitively for these releases but I would assume a little makes it out. And no, FwB is closed.

The bottles make it places, but you generally have to know people/timing. Even as a guy who knows these things, I do not necessarily end up with BA Pipeworks. When I do, I kneel on the ground and thank the beer gods for their generosity. I am currently holding on to my Revival for Christmastime.

The Revival was really good. i'd save it for dessert.

Does anyone know someone to talk to about Pipeworks distro in the Plainfield/Shorewood area? My local shop owner has tried getting in touch with them via the website email but can't get a response.

The distro is done by them, they don't use a distributor in IL. He should probably try to call.

What shop? You would think after S&A got shut down someone else in the area would have been able to pick up their allotment.

Given that people were truck chasing for Spiteful's stuff last week, I guarantee that this is going to be a shitshow as well.

Capone's posted their store lingerers. Gotta love the state of limited releases in Chicago. Let's go hang out in the store for a couple hours until the delivery comes in.

    That's too funny.

And thanks for the side-effect of this post boosting my confidence about having a beer problem. I'm clearly very low on the problem spectrum as I hate even asking about limited beers or feel like a top-notch chode when I rush over to a store based on a tweet. I cannot imagine simply standing around a store waiting on a truck to arrive. I wonder how many of them followed the truck from the previous store.
