Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

Stopped by Binny's LP at noon and picked up 2 bottles. They had plenty of stock, so if you stop by there soon grabbing some would a... Sure Bet

 

I'd say you got pretty lucky that time. Great to get it that fresh, but I wouldn't expect that. 3 weeks old is about what I'd expect, maybe a little less. I've had it over a month old, and it still tastes great, but palates differ.

 

None at Naperville Binny's... they stated they haven't received them yet.

 

Orland Park Binny's has Sure Bet. Limit 3. About 2.5 cases left as of 1:30pm.

Best location around Grant Park for bottles? Heading into town for the PJ shows this weekend hoping for a few good scores.

 

Binny's Willowbrook had a case left as of half hour ago.

 

High probability that its the Sure Bet talking here, but I'm strong enough to be comfortable with my feelings of sadness over the label change. It's bittersweet (with a world class aroma). Still one of my favorites in Chicago though, no doubt.

 

This is laughable. 3 week old beer is fresh.

 

Yeah they vomiting unicorn didn't go over well with whatever government entity it is that has a say so or at least did after the fact

Sure Bet was sold out at the Beer Cellar today. I got one at Binny's last night in GE (1 per). Other places in the western burbs got theirs today. In fact, I stopped at Savway and they had it but couldn't sell it to me since it wasn't in the system. Oh well

I am having a glass right now and it's great. It's my favorite Pipeworks beer and it's been a long year waiting for it. Hope to have a couple more bottles before it disappears

 

was able to pick up 2 and Binny's Naperville... there was 5 left as of 11:40

 

I grabbed one at BG Binnys tonight at 8pm. Didn't see how much they had left but it was behind the counter and I assume they just had one case.

 

Seems a lot of PW deliveries were later than usual this week.
Anyway Sure Bet is delic. Killing a bomber solo took me no time at all.
@Always_B_Closing , any chance to see one of the Fish or Ninja brews canned in the near future?

Got two yesterday. I first had this in 2014 and it is still by far my favorite PW beer. Seems to always be the toughest to get.

 

1) Sure Bet was at Binnys Plainfield yesterday. I got the one bottle limit and drank it, and it was just as amazing the first time I had it.
2) I usually get Todd that's around 8 to 12 days old at BJs in Oswego when he gets it.

 

Binny's in Skokie and Lincolnwood just got Sure Bet today. Not sure how much though.

 

I hit a 6 day Todd at Binny's St Charles/Geneva this July. About the best I've done. But I'm working on a 7/26 as I type and it's awesome like always
