Whoa it blew me away: Ghost in the Machine by Parish, I really can't describe how much I loved it

    Whoa it blew:
3 Floyds - gumballhead, alpha king, yumyum.... I really like zombie dust and permanent funeral, but these others were quite a let down

Habanero Sculpin ended up as a double drain pour for both of us that split a bottle. Sad that 2 people couldn't get through 6 oz of it. So much heat from the peppers, it ruined our pallets the rest of the night. Seriously, I love hot Mexican food and put a lot of hot sauces on my food, but that beer was just too hot.

It did smell really nice though, if there was any positive notes.

Tecate. I know it gets a shit rating, but I was feeling nostalgic. Damn. Tasted like a cardboard box full of corn that had been left in the rain. Truly awful.

De Garde The Lucy. Absolutely astonishing. It reminded me of Cantillon's Iris, but more abrasive.

Oh my God...I've made a terrible mistake.

Lol. I guess I misread the OP. In my defense, I've never heard anyone use "WHOA" as an expression of disdain.

I believe the confusion could be that extra o's were not added into the expression. I could be wrong.

I think it's a good thing you apologized to the Heart of Darkness fans. I'm so tired of people disparaging somebody's opinion without first apologizing for such an action. So disrespectful and selfish

My latest WHOA beer that I liked? A truly fantastic brew called Macigue Panhe're brewed by fellow BA @MikeP64 ... A black imperial IPA brewed with licorice... and not Twizzlers. GOOD stuff, the black kind. Awesome stuff. Right up my alley.

Westbrook 4th. I traded for it figuring I'd enjoy it, but it exceeded expectations. I clearly tasted all the adjuncts.

Finally tried Mikkeller Vanilla Shake last night.

Holy smokes that is a great beer! Liked it more than the sacred Bourbon County Vanilla Rye. Less sweet. Well balanced. Absolutely loved it and might go and try to pick a few more up tomorrow.

Imperial Apricot Bu, 3rd de Garde I had ever tried and I am afraid nothing will ever taste that amazing again. We popped a Veritas 15 with it and there was no comparison, de Garde just wins at sours.
