I will be staying at the Embassy Suites North by LAX on 2/7 & 2/8. Any tap rooms or bars with local taps nearby? Any bottle shops with good selection near by as well? Thanks!

PM me if you want to try and set up an IP trade. I'm maybe 15mins from LAX and near most spots you'd want to hit. Maybe we can meet up for a beer and trade some stuff.

I'm not sure if I'd put Phantom at A level, but you did omit Smog City which is across the street from Monkish.

In a perfect world I could drink Monkish's beers at Phantom Carriage's location.

The couple times I visited I was drinking Hello, LA while watching From Dusk Til Dawn. So that is about as close to perfect as I can get.

I'm not sure if Smog is at A level anymore. They just haven't really produced anything new and exciting. At least for my taste buds. Maybe it's that haze thing that's got me in a upward spiral direction these days. I did have Smog IPA at BT's last week and that was delicious. I didn't think they had a beer that's was called Smog IPA. It was 7.3%. Phantom may not be on the A list but the tasting room is pretty awesome. I'm waiting for them to show Phantasm in the theater. :fearful:

See I don't go to smog for IPA's, so I can understand that. I like the plentiful and affordable BA beers personally.

Phantom Carriage was a B, then they made Pickle.

Thanks for the input. Made it to Three Weavers and liked their IPA and stout. Also went to Firestone to get some food and great beer. Beer and food was great, service was on the slow side. Would recommend to others to stop though. Thanks again for the input. Cheers!!!!
