Here in Louisville, Against the Grain's 35K, 70K, and Bo & Luke are all out of this world. As for our neighbors to the northeast, I'd put BA B.O.R.I.S. from Hoppin' Frog up against any BA Impy Stout in the country.

Saw it posted already but Arizona Wilderness' American Presidential Stout is killer. I've heard there are even people out of the state that have heard of it/seek it out.

SunUp White Russian Imperial Stout. Similar to Founders Breakfast stout. Very good. The Perch makes a "Rule All the Things" stout, it's also solid.

Back East Imperial Stout is underrated I think. I grab it whenever I see it.

They're both rated World-Class on BA, made by big breweries and are widely distributed. I could've picked others as well. You get the point.

My vote is for Burnt Hickory Brewing Big Shanty graham cracker stout. I can only think of a few stouts that can hang with it in my opinion.

Jack's Abby Cocoa-nut Framinghammer is an amazing BA coconut stout. I think it's on par with the much more hyped big boys in the category.

Heist BA Cataclysm 2 was an extremely pleasant surprise. Has the body and depth of flavor that's the difference between a good and great stout.

GOD DAMMIT, I keep reading this and every time I kick myself for passing it up in favor for the EC, which I didn't love. If only they weren't 30 freaking bucks, I'd have got both.

Rock Harbor Brewery in Rockland, ME Spruce Head Stout is delicious, though not BA or imperial. They do make an imperial, Sochi Imperial Stout which I have yet to try, but if it's as good as their Spruce Head Stout I'd bet it would stand up.
