I want to bring a 6-pack of cans to a party Saturday. I checked the PJ web site listing of bottle shop locations in Suffolk Co. that carry their stuff. It was pretty extensive, including 3 stores that are among my closest-to-home go-tos (I live in Islip), but I noticed that for all locations there was no mention of cans, only bottles and growlers. BeerMenus has it available in can 6-packs only at Bellport, Shoreline, and the brewery store. Bellport and the PJ shop wouldn't be too much out of the way (party is in Stony Brook), but I would prefer not having to run out to either unless necessary. So, just in case I can't find it closer to home, do any fellow Suffolk BAs know of other places that definitely have PB in cans? Thanks.

I would call first, but Bayport Superstar Beverage had it the last time I was in there.

Nice, just west of Nicoll's Road. A straight shot up to Stony Brook from there. Thanks.

I was in Babylon Beverage on 109 earlier today and they had sixers of the cans. Didn't check the date though.

Best beer I have tried from them. Thanks @doomXsaloon for the can!

Bayport Superstar had it at a ridiculous $15.50 a six pack.

Hope to find it closer to me for less. $15.50 is pretty steep for a beer from a local brewery that doesn't have big shipping costs, but I'll pay the price because I've heard its pretty good. Besides, it's for friends at a party.

Beer City in North Babylon has them. They are on the shelves near the growler station.

Thanks. Found it at my nearest local shop (Islip Cold Beer Beverage). Had one at the party. I prefer IPAs that lean more toward the citrus-tropical fruit profile and I found PB to have a more piney/resinous profile, but I still found it quite enjoyable, with some subtle fruit undertones. Mouthfeel was very nice too, with ample malt body.
BTW, the date stamped on the bottom of the cans was 07/28/14. I'm assuming/hoping this was the canned-on date.
    Anyone know for sure?

Yes, it was. They were in stores two days after that, pretty fast.

I felt the opposite and thought it was more citrusy and not as piney as I usually like. Everyone has a different palate I guess. Still a solid local offering. How much did u pay? A little pricey for a local beer.

I didn't note the actual price. I was just glad to find it at my first stop—wasn't going to run around comparison shopping.
I also grabbed a six-pack of GSB Blood Orange Pale at the same time and the bill came to $26+. Had to be less than the $15.50 quoted above at Bayport, but still more than you'd expect.
