Great, thank you! Glad to hear it'll be around awhile. I'm in the Philly area, we're used to Tired Hands beers kicking after 72 hours

I would do some IP trades with you for some tired hand bottles.

The rumor was confirmed by the brewery. Bottles delayed one week due to overwhelming response.

At least it's only a week, I was worried it would be longer. Will probably go up there this weekend to try it anyway though.

Haha. Me neither. My list is only getting longer. Still have the Raleigh Beer Garden and Neuse River Brewing on the to-dos.

Ha it's just pretty out of the way for me.

Went on up there tonight and crushed a couple. It's fantastic as always, but did seem a bit more over the top/aggressive on the hops than previous batches. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it seemed like they wanted to make sure it lived up to the hype so they just threw the kitchen sink at it so to speak. Just seemed a little less well-rounded than the previous times I've had it, but hey it is a DIPA. Reminded me of Heady and Abrasive.

I agree with you on the hop aggressiveness. It's not bad, just not as "tight" as before. It seemed "too fresh" IMO. But I like my IPA's with a few weeks on them.

They also confirmed that bottles will be coming from the second batch.

Sorry. I'm a guy and too lazy to go back and read. Kind of like reading directions. Or searching for information on Asheville in this forum.

Chances that I can get at least some pours of hubris next weekend? Staying in Raleigh for the weekend with my buddy.

Yes, you should be fine and you'll probably be able to get bottles too.

Drinking one of these guys right now to celebrate the anniversary of Pop the Cap. Picked up a howler. Holy hell... Believe the hype!

Had another one tonight and it tasted more like what I remember from the last go-round, much more tropical fruity. Not sure if the 2nd batch is on now or just a little more time has changed it. Stuff is so damn good.

Anyone know if bottles are still being released at the brewery today?

That's good to hear. I thought it was a bit harsh when I tried some last week.

And I believe the limit will be 1 bottle, per person, per day.
