Seen on Maine's FB page that they are adding 2 more fermentors. Hope this means it gets easier to find as well as opening up options for new beers.

Amen - walked right past them today. At $7 and $8 for a 500ml bottle? I don't care how many whales you save...

Seems as though plenty of people are still buying it though.....

Would rather have one bottle of something I love than a six pack of something I only like. Sure cheaper would be nice but show me a beer that tastes like Zoe for any price available in Maine.

Yawn. Wake me up when the wholesale price of Peeper in Mass is less than $150 for a sixtel.

Yes and no. It's awfully tough to gauge demand when the quantity is so low. Also, Peeper and Zoe totally linger on shelves now that the rush to try them is over. Lunch goes quick, but that comes in even smaller quantities.

I love MBC - I think Peeper and Zoe are two of the best beers of their style in the world. But they are going to have to get the prices down to sell higher quantities...

No it does not when you look at how it lingers now as opposed to how it used to disappear. People have tried it and have moved on unless the price is better. I'd buy a sixer of Sea Hag for $9 any day over one 1 one of those for $7-8

Atwoods Tavern has "Mo" on tap for $7.50. Considering the price of the bottle, that's a pretty awesome price for the draft.

I also see it sit around. I love the beers but I can things I love equally at a much better price point so I pass on MBC more often than not.

I've passed over it countless times. Put me in the camp that believes their prices should come down.

Good for them, love me some MBC. Maybe some year round lunch in sixers now? I do hope prices come down though, i'll ususally buy a couple bottles when fresh but as they sit on the shelf it gets harder to spend the $ on 2 month + old beer.

Agreed. They had Peeper on for awhile a few months ago, too, and if memory serves (which it may not), they were charging something like $6.50-7 for a pint of that. Very reasonable considering the bottle price and quality, I'd say. Anyway, I had a few glasses of Mo last night, and it was delicious.

I love their beers, but add me to the group that passes up bottles at their current prices. I just can't stomach paying $5+ for 500mL of beer when there are so many other great beers out there in $10 six-packs. Lately I've been avoiding anything not in six-packs. I keep wanting to take home some Blatant IPA, but even a $5 bomber is a more than $15 sixer, and I have to drink it all at once.

If I see it on tap, though, I'm all over it. Prices on APA and IPAs seem to be pretty normalized on tap ($5-7 a pint), which tells me that the largest determining factor in packaged beer pricing seems to be format.

In other words, for the love of god, new brewers please put your beer in 12 oz sixers.

We should start a club. I'm the exact same way, most things in bombers I've tried on tap, because the price is roughly the same. Otherwise, I'm buying six packs. The price difference is astronomical, not to mention many of these beers are high abv. If a beer is high in alcohol, I don't 22 oz. of it.

What do you guys consider a good price for Peeper? I haven't seen Zoe in MA for quite a while...

I think everyone will agree everyone will pass on mbc at their current prices, with the exception of lunch
