    Hey guys,
Been brewing for about 3 years, trying something a little different (for me) here. Hoping you can take a look and give me any suggestions/changes.

    6 gallon boil
    5 gallon batch
    60 minute boil
    OG - 1.082
    FG - 1.014
    8.93% ABV
    8 SRM

    steep 30 min 160*
    12oz 20L
    8oz flaked oats
    4oz honey malt

    bring to boil
    8lb light LME
    1lb cane sugar (10 minutes)

    hops
    2oz Warrior - 60min
    .75oz Citra - 15min
    .5oz Mosaic - 10min
    1oz Falconer's - 5min
    1.25oz Citra - F/O
    1.5oz Mosaic - F/O

    1oz Citra - 7 day dry hop
    1oz Falconer's - 7 day dry hop

14 days (1 week before dry hop) on 2lbs of puree'd mangos

    yeast
1 - 12oz bottle of washed M44 saved form New Zealand pale ale.

    Thoughts?
    Concerns?
    Changes?
    Anything?

A 12oz bottle full of yeast? Stored for how long under what conditions?

Bottled a month ago, kept in the fridge.

Is the yeast mixed with water or beer? If water, not ideal, but it might still work.

Steeping 8oz of oats with the other grains won't convert the oat's starch into fermentable sugar, so you will end up with a bunch of starch in your beer which isn't ideal.

I'd use 1oz of bittering hops and add more flavor hops to equal the original IBU. I'd also double the dry hop amount. Personal preferences.

I'm not too worried about the haze (see Tired Hands beer) but like the velvety mouthfeel. I know it needs to mashed for sugars, just looking to add mouthfeel. Can also sub in carapils. Yeast is in with beer.

If you use enough Citra, the Mangos might be overkill. It depends on what you are shooting for. I've never used mangos, so can't comment on their effectiveness.

4-5oz of Citra in the kettle can make a mango bomb. Falconers flight has Citra.

I've done an all Citra ipa and it was tropical as hell, kinda what I'm going for here.
