Mass rising compared to kiwi rising?

    Me personally Kiwi>Mass, but not by much.

    I got a lot more out of Kiwi than Mass.. but both very good..

    Last year's Kiwi > Mass Rising > this year's Kiwi.

    All great brews that I enjoyed quite a lot.

    ill take this a little deeper, just with this years releases.

    Mass Rising Draft>Kiwi Rising Draft >Kiwi Rising Bottle>Mass Rising Bottle > 90% of other craft beer out there

    Just tried a mass rising for the first time. Had a similar smell to hop ranch to me: sort of a slight oniony/sweet smell.
    Had a strong presence of hops and not nearly the sweetness I enjoyed with hi-res (I know, two different types, but both very high in ibu's).

    was a very good beer, but i think (right or wrong), Hi-res ruined hoppy beer for me in having me think a lot of ipa/ipl's can be that hoppy and also be that sweet and malty at the same time.
