There is a bottle of this for $18.95 at my nearby bottle shop. Do you guys find it worth the price tag? Is that even an appropriate price? I have trouble justifying those prices without at least hearing some solid recommendations. I have read some reviews on here (which seem to be all over the map) but was hoping to get some answers based on factoring the price in as well. Thanks in advance!

That's way to much for that beer ,It's $8.99 a bottle here ..someone is ripping people off.

That really sounds like a lot of scratch for a bomber [at least I hope it's a bomber]. But if you want to say you've tried it, you will have to pay the price. I had one a couple of years ago, and I do recall that it was a real hop bomb, but personally I wouldn't pay $18.95 for it today. Keep looking around - you may find it cheaper.

    Like you it's from Ohio so perhaps that's why it's $8.99. But $18.95 is a rip-off.

Their Hop-Dam triple IPA costs less than that here, and even that is terribly over-priced.

It's amazing that they can make a fantastic RIS (Boris) and sell it for $9 a bomber, but everything else they make is so over-priced!

That's the price of a bomber of Mean Manalishi at Cleveland's Progressive Field.
    Not worth it.

Thanks! So far you guys/girls have really helped me and my wallet. And to clarify, yes it is just a bomber.

Like many of you, I am an extreme hop lover. When I saw the 168 IBU's I was of course very intrigued (yes, I know our palette's recognize only up to 80). It is somewhat of a novelty in that sense, but still my attention was caught, but I guess I will have to wait for a more reasonable opportunity.

An undated IPA at twice the sticker price? No, definitely not worth it. Their barrel-aged stuff is usually several dollars cheaper than that...

They make another DIPA with even more IBU's (forget which one) that you might want to seek out. But get a good deal and find someone/somewhere that can ensure it is fresh.

it's one of my favorite beers, but would find it hard to justify at that price. The Hop Dam is absolutely amazing, but over priced as well.

On another note, I saw Weihenstephaner Original in a nearby bottle shop a couple days ago - $15.69 for a six pack. I <3 Weihenstephaner, but really?

I absolutely love that beer but that is ridiculously expensive. Wait until you can find it at a reasonable price.

Had one last week side by side with their Hop Dam triple IPA. Strangely, Mean Manalishi blew away Hop Dam on flavor and hop presence.

I see it all the time here in NJ for ~$11.99/bottle. I've never tried it though. I'd rather get a bomber of Ruination for ~$5 cheaper.
