    Holy Shit! I'll be making the 3.5 hour drive from Greenville to Charleston to try and snag a bottle each of the variants. I'm hoping the release will be anounced at least the day before it happens.

    Ok, I'm gonna chime in. I'm drinking my first MC as we speak, fantastic beer by the way...but as I'm drinking this, I can't help but think........Mexican coffee cake anyone????

    Had the mexican coffee cake at a beer fest in April. It was unbelievably good.

    Also, there were still 15ish MC's sitting on the shelves at Total Wine in Greenville today. Was also told there is a good bit still on the shelves at both Columbia Green's locations.

    yes we made coffee cake. basically we took a muslin bag filled with ground coffee and dropped in a keg and added mexican cake. it should be pretty easy for anyone to recreate. take a french press and add mexican cake instead of water.

    Thanks for the reminder. I had 6 bottles in my cart last night, and forgot to finish the order. Down to 3 =/, but at least I got those.

    Went by Total Wine in Greenville today and they are now sold out. Oasis in Spartanburg did have some bottles but they are little more expensive than most at 13.99.

    Yep, beginning to expect the "Sorry, we are out of stock" email from TW that I'm so used to getting, despite their website saying there is something available.

    Mike,

    The wife and I hit up the brewery Friday evening and took a tour. Weren't there a few barrells of Mexican Cake being aged in Tequilla barrels as well?

    Yes but those are from this newest batch so I wouldn't expect to see them anytime soon. They have barely been in there a month

    We barreled a whole bunch of this years. The first batch was only 6 barrels (2 bourbon, 2 apple brandy and 2 red wine)

    So where might someone making the drive down 95 from PA to Florida be able to find a bottle of MC with short jaunt off the interstate?

    Micky Finns in Florence SC has it and it is not far from the interstate. I live near I95 and if our schedules will line up and I can meet you off of the Florence exit and we can do a trade if you want to.
