To me it sounds like they are forming the line for ticket holders at 230.

Awesome, thanks for helping us facebookless people out. That is perfect IMO. People who are willing to stay through the weather by coming earlier can guarantee their reward.

Could be.... But they do say "passing out" then a comma "forming a line". I took that to mean both at the same time. Kinda how Foothills does it.

Which is it? Handed out at 2:30 or form the line at 2:30?

They're being very sly on Facebook. It says "Form the line at 2:30." I asked when tickets will be handed out and haven't gotten a response yet.

Here is the post from Facebook.

Westbrook Brewing Company Great question & happy to answer! We will be passing out tickets, forming the line at 2:30, and then calling the numbers at 3:00. We will have 2 lines: cash and credit.

Sounds like a combination of Sexual Chocolate and Hunahpu's Day... Form a long line to get tickets to stand in line

So does that mean they are trying to prevent people from showing up at say 1pm?

How could they possible say the line will form at 2:30? What about the people who show up at 1pm? Do they have to form a secondary line in the parking lot and then at 2:29 will be allowed to bum rush to the "real line"?

Also, I agree that their ambiguous use of commas is quite confusing.

I'd be shocked if anyone showing up after 12pm got bottles. Most releases, people will form a makeshift line until the brewery is ready to sort things out

So what time are you planning on getting there? I still haven't seen many people commenting on when they plan to arrive.

If everyone said when they plan to show up, others would use that as a way to show up earlier. I believe that is why everyone is being mum on the subject.

God. You are probably right. Hyped beer releases are so annoying.

The paranoia in here is palpable. I'm tempted to say I'll be in line at 8am to see how many wind up there at 7 to "ensure" bottles.

I'm also not sure if it's on purpose or not (I'd believe both) but you guys realize that every post predicting shut out times, when lines begin, nitpicking commas in a Facebook post, etc just increase the hype and force people into line even earlier, right?

I'm sure they meant that tickets get handed out at 2:30, not that there is any other hidden meaning or unintended slight or tertiary line.

People will wait hours in line at releases. My best guess is 11am if not earlier. Not trying to fuel the hype as I'm not going. However, I do know a number of people who are, and have been to a couple releases lately where lines formed at midnight the night before an early morning release. This is an afternoon release, so expect a line forming in the morning. Hope all have a great time!
