I think I'll be there. I don't have a ticket yet but I see a lot for sale on Craigslist and am willing to wait until the price gets back to the original selling price. I am not buying a ticket for $20 for more than it was originally bought for. PS... If you have an extra one you want to sell I'll be glad to take it off your hands so I can avoid the whole show up day of deal. I live in Grand Rapids BTW...

I'll be there a little before noon with the folks and some friends.

The list of beers looks pretty epic this year. What is everyone looking forward to trying?

By far, the Dark Horse list steals the show

I'll be there lurking around Dark Horse most of the day. Getting in at noon... may do a little warming up before, but after going through that list I am not sure if I can.

I am likely going to be there. Will be there early for an event with Arcadia at 9. Likely a Bell's or Pintsize (avatar to the left) hoodie on.

Trying Dark Horse's Bourbon Barrel 666 will probably be worth the price of admission alone. Sarsaparilla Six was probably my 2nd favorite beer from the 4 Elf Party (behind BA Pt5). Here's to hoping they bring it out for the Summer Fest.

Coming up from Chicago and staying in downtown Grand Rapids - is it worth bringing up beers to trade over the weekend? Hoping to find some CBS while up there...

Not sure if you've been there in years past, but I strongly suggest you don't show up at 2. If you do, you'll be waiting outside for quite a while. Should get in line around 12 if you actually want to get inside by 1:00-1:30.

I'll be there with 4 others. I'm looking forward to the DarkHorse and Shorts tent. Also pumped the weather will actually be winter and not 50 degrees.

I know, I was being sarcastic because they like to dilly-dally every year. This is the 4th year in a row we have been to this and it keeps getting more redonkulous

Figured as much.... yeah, it's pretty insane. Last year it was terrible. I heard of people having to wait an hour+ just to get in.

Might just have to leave any stragglers behind! heh

Dark Horse is bringing the thunder just like they do at every one of these festivals as of late. I hope the lines aren't as crazy as they were last year, but I know they will be. I'm afraid to even think about what the Black Note line over at Bell's is going to look like. Yikes.

So what time should we show up for the best chance at not waiting an hour+ to get in??

I'll be there nice and early, the guild membership and hour early admittance is nice to have! I'm predicting a lot of people will be let in for the early admission, but not nearly as bad as when the masses are let in after 1...

I'd show up around 12 to get in on time if you don't have a guild membership

Just like everyone else, hoping to get there by noon and wait in line to get in. Wish there was a way to show you're a BAer, like a BA hoodie or something.

Anyone have any heads-up on special releases? The only one on my radar right now is Black Note at 3:15pm.

I'm doing the Groupme thing again this year, so if anyone wants to keep in touch during the fest, it's a great way to talk about what's good, bad, and awesome. It's like a chat room for your phone, via text messages or a dedicated app.

Message me with your cell phone number and name so I can add you to the group.

This was a great event. Raspberry Wild One was the best in my opinion.
