Hey Fellow BA's, I was curious what you guys think is the best mixed 12 pack you can buy pretty much all over the Denver area is? Thanks!
I'll forever swear by the Ska can pack. It only contains 3 beers (Modus, ESB, and True Blonde) but each is an elite beer within their style.
Yup... I'd agree here... Montage is almost always the best... I would also add the Great Divide Big Show, but the 4 bottles in the box change frequently, so it does depend on whats in there... A few months back I got one that had yeti, hercules, old ruffian, and one of the yeti variants (I think it was chocolate.. but in 12 oz bottles!) That was a really nice box
Speaking of mixed 12-packs...I'm not a New Belgium fanboy, but it was pretty sweet when they were including throwback beers in each one. And no, I'm not talking about throwbacks like Springboard (or whatever the hell they're calling a 'throwback' these days at NB). I'm talking about Old Cherry Ale and the like... Big ups to Great Divide's Big Show. You can't go wrong there, and I also love Dry Dock's!
I would like to add Stone's, as well. No its not Colorado, but it is available and includes: IPA, Ruination, Sublimely Self-righteous, and Arrogant Bastard. Now that is Badass!
Odell Montage (although that price point isn't the best, but the one off and seasonals are great) New Belgium Folly Pack (like @MtnSoup stated getting an oldie, but a goodie is fun) New Belgium Can Pack (they serve a purpose while biking, hiking, camping, and cans are awesome) Great Divide Big Show (big price, but damn good beers) Upslope (nice variety of cans)
