Modern Times invades Virginia Beach

I'll be honest, I do not know a lot about the brewery other than they have some heavy hitters and some of you clamor for their beers. Not sure if it's a one time thing or distro will be regularly available in the area now but here you go.....check their fb event for updates as to which beers will be available.

ORDERVILLE IPA
This stunningly tasty beer is packed with a dizzying abundance of hop varieties, but features an enchanting, Mosaic-forward profile enhanced by fermentation with London III yeast, yielding an explosively fruity, relentlessly delicious beer drinking experience.
This beauty will be AVAILABLE on tap & in 22oz!!!

ACCUMULATED KNOWLEDGE
This beer is the glorious aggregate of our IPA-brewing knowledge, with loads of bright stone fruit, juicy citrus, and piney awesomeness bursting forth from its hazy, delicious depths. It was made as special release for a certain chain or nautically-themed grocery stores, but may occasionally pop up on draft at the tasting rooms as well.
This beer will be offered on tap only!

 

That what's I was assuming. I have never been to Bottlecraft but knew they originated in San Diego.

DROP ART
This outrageously crushable sour is a liquid celebration of mango and orange zest. If you want to make your day considerably better, you have now been given an opportunity.
Unfortunately we will not have the cans BUT IT WILL BE ON TAP

BLACK HOUSE
an oatmeal coffee stout bursting with coffee aroma and flavor. Modern Times is one of the only breweries in the world to roast our own coffee, which allows us to be exceptionally picky about which coffees we use and how we roast them. The result is an abundantly flavorful beer that's incredibly complex and aromatic, with loads of roast character and a chocolate-covered espresso bean finish. Black House is also available on Nitro. So creamy.

BLACK HOUSE BLEND COLD BREW
This killer cold brew combines a naturally processed Ethiopia with the chocolate brownie lusciousness of a Sumatra wrapped up in a blueberry finish. Its a new school spin on an old school mocha blend that will blow you mind

TETRA CITY DIPA
This towering monolith of flavor is packed to bursting with Citra, Simcoe, and Cascade hops, yielding a tropically dank profile that could not be more welcome in the approaching summer heat. If you’re looking to optimize your weekend beveraging schedule, this is definitely our primary suggestion.
This 8.7% wonder is going to be available in Bottles!

 

Looks like MT availability may extend beyond VB. I noticed over the weekend "The Wink" (Richmond) posted on their page that they are expecting product in this week as well.

Spoke to the beer guy at one of my local shops yesterday and he said they expect MT to be available fairly regularly going forward. Every couple weeks or so getting re-stocked. Hop House Distribution has the rights and they service the entire state. From a quick look it appears they are based out of Richmond and have popped up quite a bit around Hampton Roads area, NOVA and Central VA. I don't know who all is in their portfolio but do know J Wakefield and Almanac are part of it.
