What’s considered old people? 60? I enjoy rock/electronic Berlin school music. Am I the worst? :heavymetal:

FFS I was being sarcastic. I know that sarcasm doesn't always carry over online, but I can't believe two people thought someone would seriously post that old people enjoying music are the worst. Then again, I couldn't understand why the guy I was responding to thought it was "absurd" that his 50-year-old coworker liked rocking out to songs on Spotify.

Anyone at any age who loves music is OK by me.

Apologies if this has been asked long do League members have to pick up their bottles? I was considering digging around seeing if I could get gifted a membership this year (and pay for it, of course) but wanted to see what the timeframe to pick up is since I’m a few hours away from PDX location.

I dont wanna derail the thread but its weird listening to the guy in his fifties whisper screaming emo lyrics while im at work. It would be weird if the 30 year old near me did it too. Just a funny anecdote, didn't mean to trigger anyone, sorry

I believe that due to COVID, it is a 30 days pickup window like it currently is. They're gonna keep doing two sales a month, so it's a lot of beer for them to hold for members.
  12. nmoe

    nmoe (269) Dec 18, 2015 Minnesota

It used to be 3 months, but now is 1 month due to how much more is being released.

Are you talking the member included bottles, or purchases? Or is it the same for both now? I've never waited more than a week to pick so it's never been an issue, but that obviously doesn't apply to all.

Its still 3 months for included bottles, for this year anyways.

I don't think it has been mentioned for next year.

For next year, we will be maintaining 3 months for included beers, while all purchased beer will remain at 30 days. Originally we though included items may shift to 1 month too, but I worked it out with our Ops team to keep 3 months.

I had to bail for next year. I like/love the beers, but having a proxy and then paying for shipping costs on top of the bottles just gets to be too much.

As a bit of a tangent, if anyone wants one of the steins we got this year, I’m happy to send it with your label. There’s just no room for that monster in my cabinets.

It sounded like a bunch were picked up by Theory members. I know I personally bought 2 (1 for a league friend and 1 for a theory friend) just because they didn't want to play the lottery game and needed another respectively.

How did you find out about this? Is this League only available on the dark web? I'm on IG, FB, email group. I can't find anything on it

League and Theory have private FB pages on which the membership admins share info. All the gift/renewal membership info. has been shared with us on those pages. I'd expect a public announcement of "Sold Out" to hit the public socials at some point.

When I first heard they were giving lunchboxes to a bunch of grown men, I thought I would have the same reaction. But then I discovered it works great to pack two tasting glasses in bubble wrap, and now use it for my glassware when I go to shares..

well... I use to, back when the world was normal..

looking forward to when I can use my lunchbox again
