Modern Times League of Partygoers and Elegant People (2022)

Last time I passed through downtown Oakland I didn’t know what to do with myself now that I no longer could try squeezing in a visit to MT.

 

Original Pattern Brewing is just a few blocks from downtown. Just on the other side of 880.

Ghost Town might be to far to the West outside of downtown. Kind of close.

SARA new place going in soon also in downtown.

 

Thoughts on the half year memberships?

 

I view it as a positive sign that their best expectation is that they will finish out the memberships this year (and beyond).

 

They also have a place on the east side right of 580 on MacArthur

 

I dunno. Seems like they've got product that will go unclaimed and the half-year is an option to sell through to a new audience

I'd like to hear anything about preview tastings. Seems like those got lost in the shuffle a couple of months ago.

 

Had a Chaos Grid Joy today, definitely turning. Had a can in March and it was great. Tonight’s can has some tartness, almost jammy. Nose is very metallic. Not sour yet, but heading that way.

 

+1 for preview tastings, maybe my favorite membership perk and I think the last one they did was January? Maybe December?
