Had lunch at MORE today, was a really great experience. All the food was stellar, the Chicken Tikka was exceptional. Was hesitant to place the order but was really glad I did. The beer as always was great, best tap lineup since theyve opened.

FC Coffee + Vanilla was phenomenal. Amazing nose, great taste. Definitely on the sweeter end but I walked out with a crowler. This batch of Strong Hand is delicious, Dusty & Loose Candies were tasting mighty fine. Left with 4 crowlers in total.

I was in there at lunch as well. I was the guy with two kids at a table.

I thought the beers were good - nothing blew me away, but nothing was bad. The kids menu was great, and I opted for the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. That was a bit hotter than I’d prefer, but that’s probably my fault (perhaps I should’ve choose my other option..al pastor tacos). I’d definitely go back if I were in the area.

That’s what I feel about their IPA/DIPA so far. It’s ok but not going out of my way for them. I haven’t tried Henna yet. Still think Corridor is the best in Chicagoland for IPA/DIPA.

I should have specified - the Nashville chicken sandwich is crazy hot, the buffalo is a lot more manageable!

Now you tell me! It was still tasty, but it made it very hard to drink the porters that were on tap.

Wow, this is pretty funny. I was disappointed in the Nashville Hot Chicken when i got it, because it wasn't nearly hot enough for me.

How long ago? At one point they had a hot version and a medium version (or something along those lines) and were calling both Nashville hot but differentiating how spicy and later I think started calling the lesser one buffalo. So it could be you got the buffalo by accident.

I am pretty fond of spicy food and the Nashville was too much for me too finish (thought very tasty). Since then I’ve gotten the buffalo which I really like.

I would say it was back in September and it only gave me the choice between Nashville hot and buffalo. But, it was very mild for my liking of Nashville Hot Chicken lol. The beer I had was good, and the food was overall good but my expectation had not been met.

Kind of a random thought here, but I wanted to say how much I wish I had something like More closer to me. I say this after having an early lunch there yesterday with my youngest daughter. Looking around the dining area, it was probably a 70/30 split for tables with children to tables without. It just felt nice to be in a 'downtown' business that was a nice mixture of adult/family friendly on a Sunday morning. I was able to have a couple of samplers and the kiddo was able to have a grilled cheese and a juicebox. Everyone was happy. I can't help to think that they will be able to foster a great sense of community by embracing the kid-friendly nature during the lunch/early dinner hours.

Hmm, reminds me of a place I used to go to in the city with my family on Clybourn....

Sounds similar to Chaos 17. I bet it's really good, and I hope he bottles it AND that it's sold via brown paper tickets.
