"Chris Allen, chef at Farmers' Cabinet's nearby sibling The Boilermaker, will replace Forte."

It's fun reading about the FC. It's like the Philly beer scene's own lil soap opera. I hope door the door keeps revolving. Keeps shit fun and entertaining.

I enjoyed FC, shit, I took my mother and she keeps asking to go back. Can't say I'm surprised to see all of this go down though. Actually thought it would happen sooner.

what seems to be the big issue at FC that causes all this stuff.. owners not willing to shell out the $ to pay their employees.. shady dealings? what's the scoop people?

    i'm not blind =)
i said that because i'm not sure if chris allen is staying as chef at both places now, or he's moving to farmer's cabinet and then getting replaced by someone at boilermarker.

Sounds like a former company that I worked at in the late 90's (not beer related), when all the people in the know knew it was going under, they all got out before the collapse. I was 19 at the time.

Stoked that Terry is going to Pizza Boy though!
