Just bought a bottle of The Bruery Bois for $32 after tax. The last bottle in the store.
I think oz for oz, Angel's share just took that cake at $14/ 12 oz
I paid $24 for Bois.
$240 for a 3L T25, probably for my wedding or 30th bday, whichever comes first
$44 for a Cantillon Lou Pepe Gueuze 2009 vintage about two months ago. Not quite sure how unreasonable this was price-wise, but it was the first Cantillon bottle I encountered in person so I was obviously pulling the trigger.
You're right. I quoted 12 bucks for mine, but that was really a guess. Probably closer to 20 with tax.
$25 after change for Old Rasputin Barrel Aged.
$19.25 after tax for CBS. I've never crossed the $20 mark for a single. Just haven't been able to bring myself to do so. The next time Cantillon shows up in town, the line will be crossed. If it happens.
$75 for a magnum of Stone 15th Anniversary (still haven't opened it).
I really don't see you spending $1000 if you stay within DE, but if you venture into MD that might change things (according to distribution on seekabrew). You really should shoot down to Ocean City and Burley Oak (best local MD brewery that doesn't distribute) while you are in the region though. Also, you might want to hit up State Line Liquors in MD since it is fairly close. DFH was a lot of fun and the first brewery I visited. Their distilled spirits are great and you should get the Antelope Sliders (real, antelope meat) at the brewpub. Finally, don't forget the vintage and exclusive beers there. Have fun!
$85 for a 6 pk of Westy 12 (includes 2 glasses)
I will be hitting several stores along the way. Better safe then sorry. Three cases of 120 alone.
Oh, yeah you will get a good deal at the brewery. I don't go hard like that and can barely imagine buying three cases of any one beer. Make sure to get it at the brewery since it is cheapest there. Yeah, I saw you gave 120 a 5. Now you can enjoy it at every stage in the aging.
Awesome tips by the way
$40 for 2oz of Utopias, next time im just buying the bottle.
I can't imagine paying $40 for 2oz of anything, holy crap. Was it worth it?
I was just there last Thursday while on vaca with my fam. My wife and kids were bored as hell, but I had a great time! Got a 4-pack of 120, 4-pack of Burton Baton, 750mL Theobroma and Sah'Tea. $86
Just spent $20 for a bottle of Cantillon Vigneronne.
On a per ounce basis, probably Pannepot at $7.99 for an 11.2 oz bottle
$50 at DLD each year for whatever BA versions I can get my hands on.
Spent $130 on 6 bombers (almost $22 each) recently on the Westbrook BA MCs at the release. I have only opened 1 so far and trying to make that money stretch out as long as possible. I used to be stingy with my beer money, but you do have to throw out a bit more for the really good stuff!
I just visited De Struise’s tasting room and picked up a few Pannepot and Black Albert. I also picked up a 750ml O.N.E. and a 750ml Rio Reserva. The 750ml bottles were about $13 each. That was very expensive for beer when consider that I just picked up 2 cases of Westvleteren 8 for about $3 each and the 12s cost about $3 also from the abbey.
My beer run to a Belgium grocery store cost me $125 for:
48 (2 cases) of St. Bernardus Abt 12
24 of Rochefort 8
24 of Westmalle Tripel
4 750ml bottles of Chimay Blue
6 pack of Duvel
Laughed at "my wife and kids were bored" part. Would be the same here!
Now this is tricky.... I'm planning a road trip to Vermont in a couple weeks. Does the total spent for beer include the jewelry I'm going to have to buy my girlfriend to "make up for" my beer spending?
I have no idea. Are we talking at a store? If not, $10 for a pint of Dreadnaught... I think. Whatever it is, it's not much. I'm starting to buy bombers though, so that'll change soon.
was it even good? lol
They had Blauw that day at Monk's?! And I didn't buy one?!
$30 for a Firestone/Walker 15, but spending this much is a rare ocurrance.
$230 for a 2009 Utopias. Opening it next weekend.
I always pick up a Saison Brett when it comes out. Never runs me more than fifteen bucks though.
Chocolate Rain for me.
3 Bottles of "Bois" $90 and happy to have them.
$30 for Eclipse EC 12yr (22oz)
$25 for Abyss 2010 (22oz)
$25 for Old Rasputin XIV (750ml)
Back when The Alchemist didn't have a limit I bought 5 cases...
Yep. And Malvasia. 5 and 6 of each, respectively for $100 a pop. Had a chance at either (or both) and passed, then 20 minutes later regretted it and settled for a t25.
33 Dollars per bottle of Bruery Bois
$130 Tactical Nuclear Penguin
Just bought my most expensive bottle to date last night. I drove by a store that I wanted to check out on my way to temecula for a wedding. I noticed that they had a couple of 750ml bottles of Cantillon Iris for $34.99 each. I was tempted to snag both, but I didn't want to spend $80 on 2 beers.
Im ashamed to be in this thread :/
