$30 for 3F Oude Gueze but I have a feeling I may do something ridiculous and blow that out the water for something that I buy in the heat of the moment and brain can't function.

Per ounce, definitely $32 for a bottle of Westy 12. It's definitely not something that I would normally do, but I'll do it once to try it. It will definitely be broken out for a good occasion.

$28 for a bottle of Isabella Proximas when it was released..believe it was 2008. Gave it to my son as a gift and kept it refrigerated in the DBF. He needed $ to cover tuition costs and sold it last year for "somewhere over $300" last year. While I was a bit bummed that I did not get to try it the silver lining is that the guy who bought it pulled it out at a brewers dinner in FL that Sam Calagione attended...Sam saw it..had a glass and pronounced it to be 'most excellent".

Fou Foune at $65. I'd do it again if given the opportunity!

$35 each for Eclipse javacoffee X2 and Vanilla X2. Why? I dunno. Still have one '14 Javacoffee I'm holding on to for whatever reason

Paid $80 for Cable Car at toronado and $60 for Cantillon Fou Foune at City Beer Store. Both were onsite consumption only tho

Haha....oh shoot that's awesome! Now that you mention it, I believe his shirt read "filthy" or something of that sort on the name tag. Lol. Really hope I run into him again now that I know this. He's a really cool dude. Cheers!

Rather what I suspected, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm glad to hear its unlikely to develop into an expensive habit

BC Rare this year at $60... By far the most I've spent on a bottle.

Wish I could say the Rare purchased 2012 for $75 was worth it but it wasn't. Doesn't matter that I could afford it, was stupid waste of $.

yeah, but like I said it will still be an ejoyable experience, I find it interesting that someone thought (the people at brouweri de bosteels I suppose), "let's make the real champagne of beers" when gueuze already exists, not that they taste the same or that they arent justifiable in their existence separately, but to me as effervescent beers champagne like in nature they serve essentially the same purpose

Rarely buy bombers, so would be $16.00 for a 12oz DFH World Wide Stout. Would likely not pay that much again for that particular beer, though it was very good.

I 99% of the time won't go over $20 unless it's for lambic. I paid $70 for boos at a bar and 40 for a 3F beer in store. Ive bought plenty in the 30-50 range.
