$11.27 for a bomber of Rogue Sriracha Stout. Shared the beer, we all thought it was okay. The issue became who got to keep the decorative bottle.

The $30 price tag for Chocolate Rain. Worth it. Next runner up... $25 for prior Cycle releases. Again, worth it.

$17 for a bottle of 120 minute. managed to haggle down to $12 one time though, so that was pretty cool.

Other than that, $30ish for Casey stuff.

A few weeks ago while on a business trip in DC, I paid $30 for a can of Heady. I figured it was now or never. In the same store (near Dupont Circle) they also had several bottles of Bourbon County, Bruery, etc. for sale for prices between $299 and $150!

$34 for a bottle of Bruery Cuivre, excellent beer but very, very pricey. My brother in law just paid $80 for a Black Tuesday which in my opinion is absurd.

I usually buy the limited release brews from Hill Farmstead that are typically $30 or so. Some are 375, some are 750. All have been worth the money! Their "shelf" options are all priced great, so I don't feel bad getting a few of the expensive options.

I've paid $30+ many times for some of the Cascade Barrel House bottles. I think I paid around $30 for a 2008 Abyss last year (drank is at christmas and is was totally worth it!).

2 weeks ago my wife said she wanted to have a special drink to mark my son's first birthday.

    Champagne? Wine?

She said..."No, I want to have a special beer."

I basically narrowed the choices down to a 750ml 3F Gueze and a bottle of FW XIX...both $25.

Since she isn't too crazy about sours, I got the XIX. Going to open it in a few weeks. Before that? $15 for Parabola.

    1 West Dupont.

I hate sharing this information but that store doesn't do a very good job of making sure what is there is fresh either.

Hopefully your can of Heady is okay.

It is the most overpriced - by far - store in the DC area. And somehow they get away with it.

My answer to the OP as well, most expensive by the oz at least. I've purchased several bombers of Selkirk Abbey's Cuvee de la Nuit Profonde at roughly $18 each, but still cheaper by the oz than the weasel poop beer.

And, yeah, it was some great shit!

2013 SA Utopias at $190. Next up is prolly a tie between Eclipse or O'Dells 180 Schilling. I shared a bottle of Speedway Stout that had the coffee bean in it that the Civic Cat went to get but I didn't pay for it.

40 bucks for a bottle of Anchorage's A Deal With The Devil. I was supposed to have this on my wedding day two weeks ago, but the ABV was way too high for me on a day that I'm supposed to remember forever. Needless to say, I threw it in the fridge and never drank it. Maybe just maybe I'll end up drinking it.

I've never really broken twenty bucks. Places will charge what they can get for beer, and I don't want to contribute to excessive margins.
